Our gov't is slowly eliminating America's farmland...Small farms which could have and did supply America's food are all but non-existent...Our gov't is making us dependent on our gov't for survival...
The Great Lakes have restrictions on how much water can be pumped out to the various states YET billions of gallons are given to the Nestle company to sell as bottled water for their profit...Many people would be shocked to find out how many different brand name products they buy from the stores are owned by Nestle's...
Currently while folks in California and other Western States are scorched, our gov't is selling or giving billions of water to China even tho the lake levels are extremely low...
It’s true. The technology exists to create safe nuclear power, use it to power large desalination plants (which require a lot of energy)in much the way Israel uses them, but the truth is: They don’t want new sources of water.
They want to bitch and complain about it, but they don’t want any new sources. But they have no problem letting even more people into the area from Mexico to colonize California, while the people who have to pay taxes leave if they can, and pony up if they can’t.

I do not think that is physically possible, even with a fast-growing crop such as radishes.
