Why Can’t California Farmers Get the Water They Need?
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/01/16 | Katy Grimes

Who is blocking 29 million in Los Angeles from getting water, and why

Despite some nice rainfall this year, the more than two dozen State Water Contractors throughout the state have been told to expect 45 percent water allocations.

A recent Daily Democrat article said 100 percent water supply is probably not even possible for many areas, and estimated that 60-70 percent of water supplies through the two state aqueducts could be as good as it gets.

Special: Christie Brinkley's New Wrinkle Remover! 15 Years Younger For $5 While recent rain has helped greatly, state water officials say it’s not enough to replenish years of drought.

The Feds have long been the cause of the California drought. They will not release water

If trump makes this an issue he will win going away

Why? Because the democrats and their rino allies want to control the unclensed constitution lovers conservatives from America by controlling food and WATER and the military.

This is a weird question. There is still a serious drought in California that isn’t fully relieved yet.

Los Angeles is a desert valley. Who the hell thinks that’s a great place for big agricultural operations?

because there are too many illegals using the water already. Send them home and there will be more water for Americans.

It’s long been the policy of the CA leadership to balloon the population with freshly minted Democrat voters, while doing little to nothing about the infrastructure to support them. Particularly new dams and reservoirs, which the eco-elite there finds particularly icky. I’m not sure how they’re supposed to charge their Teslas without them, though.

Perhaps when all the farmers in the Central Valley go bankrupt there may be some nice land for sale, cheap.

And if some enterprising Democrat supporters buy the land well nothing wrong with that.

And if at some future point it is discovered there is enough water for the farms after all and the land magically becomes valuable after all, nothing wrong with that now is there.

California government is corrupt and the media are there enablers.

Exactly. People flock to the DESERT by the millions and then they can’t figure out why water is scarce.

They use environmental concerns as an excuse to impose rationing and then blame the ensuing shortages on the environment, specifically climate change.
The only climate we have to worry about is the political climate.

It is just an extension of their energy policy - regulate and control something until supply is limited which results in shortages then pretend that that they don’t know what caused it with the real motive being to force people to use less because it is environmentally friendly.

Got to love those ad insertions.
