Ego (gargantuan), political human ego, stands in the way of saving America.
It was ego that hanged noble America in 2008, when a man whose unstoppable ego to take down America far surpassed any intent of serving the people who elected him.
If anything that should have been learned in the interminably long past eight years, it should have been to beware of oversized, leaning toward crazed ego.
You forgot about the quest to obtain , and then keep , power and control

Obama set the bar so low that anyone who simply hates America will still be 10 times better as a President than obie ever was. Obie not only hates America but has worked full time to undermine it with his minions help of course (valjar).
We could live dozens of lifetimes and never see anyone in the realm of pure nastiness compared to obamao. Heck, dare I say it? Even hitler was a better leader for his country. As bad as he was hitler at least had his country’s best interest in mind. Well; Austria and Germany anyway. Oblome is exactly the opposite. May he live eternity in hell. He sure as heck made America a hellish place to live. I would not have thought anyone could do what he did. He obviously had lots of help in dark places.
Our system needs fixing so no other President can get away with what this demon freak did. Not even one I support.

It started years ago- Even when Romney ran, many even here on FR said they wouldn’t vote for him and that ‘America deserved to have 4-8 years of a democrat’ for ‘picking Romney as candidate’ saying he was ‘no different than a liberal’- and that is precisely why we lost the election- many stayed home and didn’t even bother voting
The same damn thing is going to happen this election cycle too- IF Cruz wins nomination- then many more people will stay home- IF donald wins, many will stay home, but some cruz supporters are at least big enough to put aside their differences and vote to keep a democrat from getting elected if possible-
All this ‘Never-Trump/Never-Cruz’ crap MUST stop- The supreme court is at stake- our constitutional rights are at stake-
Canada Free Pressa? Is this lady an NBC? Why is she writing for a foreign newspaper?
How to keep it from happening again will be up to congress?
The Ego stands in the way of saving everybody.
