Ok, ok .. I get it. The whole thing stinks. But I decided to go into a google earth presentation to see what this plaza looked like, and what they are all solemnly looking AT.
At the link above (And if not just go to Google Earth and look up "revolution plaza" in Havana.. there are plenty of pictures) I see a wide open place for the President of the US to be standing... in the capitol city of Havana.
These buildings are the stuff of Sniper dreams ! Where is the security ? Where is the protocol ?
And this Revolution Plaza looks like a dump. It's a parking lot. Seriously, you'll see the tire marks of people doing donuts in the center of the plaza. And there is a utility pole right in the center of it.
If ever there was a picture that told the Socialist tale, this little slum should be it.
I mean if there was a Marriot in the plaza, I would keep driving into the cold, tired night. Talk about a field of rapes. Anyway.. I hope you enjoyed this Vanity. Have a good night all !

Why is there a giant portrait of osama bin laden with the words “us beso fidel” (at least that is what I think it says)on one side of the plaza?

Castro’s glorious plaza rivals the average Walmart parking lot for pure charm.
But somebody needs to replace Che’s face with Obama’s, with the jaw jutting out Mussolini style. Maybe he’ll stay if they do.
