Good Grief-Glenn Beck Today: Ted Cruz is "The Mormon Prophecy" Sent To Save The World from the "last of days"

Posted on March 20, 2016 by sundance

This isn’t the first time Glenn Beck has said his blessed candidate was the representative image and embodiment of his lord and savior who has arrived to save the world. Beck also isn’t the only one who believes it. Ted’s father has said something similar when he proclaimed “Ted was anointed to take control of society“.

Previously Glenn Beck proclaimed that God killed Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to insure Ted Cruz wins the republican nomination. Today Beck proclaimed the “end of days”, and Senator Cruz as the prophecy fulfilled.

A reasonable person has to wonder how this prophetic sales pitch is supposed to help beyond a very narrow segment of the religious electorate:

beck and cruz 2

UTAH – […] Beck said that he, like many Mormons, believes in a prophecy that the Constitution will hang by a thread in the last days. He said he believes that now is that time, and people like Lee and Cruz will save it.

He also said the Book of Mormon was created as a guide on how to protect freedom in our day. At the Provo rally, many responded yelling, “I believe, I believe.” (read more) [video available here]

Beck appears to be describing the Mormon belief in a White Horse prophecy

So Ted Cruz is the New Jesus or something?

That’s one way to sell a candidate I guess.

It seems to me to be Politics 101: If you want to win elections, don’t be associated with a card carrying nut job.

Did Ted skip those classes?

In SC Cruz had hundreds of paid staff, thousands of volunteers, over 300 Evangelical pastors endorsing him representing every county in the state, between the Cruz campaign and his Super PAC over $7 MILLION was spent.

Glenn Beck went around and proclaimed that Cruz was sent by God to guide us thru the rapture. Then he said that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz.

On primary day, Cruz lost the Evangelical vote, didn’t win a single county, and left with ZERO delegates.

Here’s hoping that the Glenn Beck religious lunacy will work its magic in Utah the same as it did in SC.

Honestly, I don’t think Ted actually realized just how crazy that lunatic Beck is. He had no idea, and I think he got blindsided on stage and had to go with the flow and let this fool play mock “Chief Justice” and swear him in using some bible he claimed to be owned by some founding father.

I’ll bet you this. Ted was supremely embarrassed by it and I’ll just be Beck was told to STOP IT afterwards. The problem with Beck is, though, he is INSANE and there is no controlling him. Ergo this Mormon Prophet thing. I am embarrassed for Ted, frankly (even though he his my second choice).

Trump: Let's bring jobs back to this country and Make America Great Again!

Cruz: It is the End Times, so vote for me for Savior and you'll go to heaven.

Next up, Ted Cruz expels the "Trump Demons" from his supporters:

" Beck appears to be describing the Mormon belief in a White Horse prophecy..."

That's what it sounds like from here, and Ted Cruz seems not to be backing away or even looking around... how many delegates does Utah have, again?

If Cruz was the nominee, can you imagine Hillary using this in a campaign ad. Good Grief!

What is really funny is rabid mormon glenn is hysterical for non mormon savior Cruz. Like the mormon god is gonna pick a non mormon to save mormons from the end of the world.

Just a small tangent related to beck’s ascending insanity.
