Questions are surrounding the alleged disappearance of a service dog named Kai

A service dog "stolen" from the yard of a San Diego Marine veteran was in her ex-husband's possession and was never missing, the man’s lawyer told NBC 7 Wednesday.

In November 2014, Alexandra Melnick enlisted the help of local media to find her dog Kai, who she said was taken from her Vista backyard.

The woman's story bother me. I received literally hundreds of posts and shares on Facebook about Kai and no where did she mention a divorce and ex-husband. Knowing the situation could have made it easier to locate Kai.

She also posted videos under her name on YouTube showing her flying a Cessna 152. I just found the video, but it's posted under anther person's name now. A lot of things don't add up.

Shouldn’t the quotes be around ‘service dog’ instead of ‘missing’?

Sounds like one of those scams where someone gets a fake ‘service dog’ certificate so they can take their pet places pets aren’t ordinarily allowed.
