Ted Cruz's Campaign Machinations Exposed by Conservation Treehouse
American Freedom ^ | February 17, 2016

Posted on 02/17/2016 11:57:19 AM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

The machinations of Ted Cruz since he was elected to the US Senate in 2013, are cold, calculating and meant to fool the American people into catapulting him into the White House.

Cruz paints himself as an outsider in DC fighting as he says the DC Cartel. Don't be deceived by his rhetoric it doesn't match his creds, he's as establishment as they come.

Between 1999 and 2003, Cruz was the director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission, an associate deputy attorney general at the United States Department of Justice Domestic Policy Advisor to President George W. Bush on the 2000 George W. Bush presidential campaign. He served as Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to 2008, appointed by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott.

From 2004 to 2009, Cruz was also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught U.S. Supreme Court litigation.

Senator Ted Cruz took office in January of 2013. January through September of 2013 Cruz campaigned against Obamacare even forcing a government shutdown over the funding for it. It appeared he was doing the right thing - for the right reasons. However, he was getting massive intense backlash for a junior senator with only a few months on the job - soon the pressure became too much, he was isolated, ridiculed and marginalized into defeat. He collapsed - retreated and made a decision.

In October of 2013 Cruz made a strategic decision to get his political life kick-started and try to regain credibility and influence. To achieve this he partnered with the very political machine he previously opposed, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and then Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. McConnell directed Cruz to join the NRSC.

Cruz is trying to convince America it needs to burn Trump like a Salem witch hunt.

Ivy league schools, Harvard Law, elitist connections, wifey on CFR...until he decides it would further his ambition to become an “Outsider”.

We’re not that dumb.

Interesting, but not even remotely factually accurate. Just in the snippet here, it’s twisted turned into something other than what it is. It’s akin to a ridiculous attack saying no one who serves in Washington for one day can be against big government. That’s crap. Many go to try to fix it. Cruz is one of them. There are many in the House and a handful in the Senate. One can be an advisor to a previous president without being a consummate insider. Under this thinking, Trump is an insider Republican because he has the support of Sarah Palin, who also was part of a McCain ticket, and also later endorsed him for re-election.

This election cycle has unfortunately devolved into the splintering of what was once a fairly unified conservative movement.

All of this is interesting, but a bit circumstantial and open to interpretation. In other words, if you already are committed to Ted, you can explain it all away that it was necessary to “fight the good fight” (while accomplishing little to nothing but boosting his career, naturally).

What’s not so easy to escape is the utter travesty that is the Cruz Presidential Campaign. A dirty, underhanded smear and spam operation headed up by Jeff Roe and Axiom Strategies. That Cruz actually got into bed with this guy up is a glaring testament to his terrible judgement of character and lack of principles. The really sad thing is, Cruz will be probably washed up as a credible voice for conservative principles after the depths he’s gone to, while this is probably Jeff Roe’s last hurrah cash grab that will set him up for life financially.

The glib staunch Christian Cruz gulled the Senate biographer into believing he is the first Hispanic elected to the US Senate (only his Cuban father is Spanish). Cruz exposed himself at the last debate---saying he was watching Spanish-language TV---even though he has trusting Texans believing he doesn/t speak Spanish.

AND GET THIS------he was certainly busy in the Senate. Think Whirling Dervish---that should give you a better picture of the overly ambitious-Cruz.

TED CRUZ/s CURRENT SENATE COMMITTEES
(SOURCE: Cruz web site):

Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities

Subcommittee on Seapower

Subcommittee on Strategic Forces

Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation

Subcommittee on Space, Science, and Competitiveness, Chairman

Subcommittee on Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security

Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet

Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security

Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard

Subcommittee on Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights and Federal Courts, Chairman

Subcommittee on The Constitution

Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest

Joint Economic Committee

Committee on Rules & Administration

===================================================

EXHIBIT TWO----On Cruz' official Senate web site-----Cruz posted on his Immigration page what he apparently considers to be his accomplishments:

CRUZ WEB SITE: In 2013, Sen. Cruz proposed amendments to the "Gang of 8" bill that would strengthen border security, expand green card opportunities, increase high-skilled "H1B" visas, prevent illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits, and enforce the rule of law.

Even after the bill died, when Cruz had the opportunity, he did not identify his amendment as a "poison pill." Cruz glaringly omitted his current stance....that he was only bluffing.

Cruz dismisses Trump as not a Godly man. That/s so
true.....Donald never gave a Sunday sermon like Ted did.

Last Sunday, church goers heard Cruz preach about the biblical role of government. Ted Cruz is an advocate of the New World Order.....Christian Dominionism Branch.

Coincidentally (cough), many of Cruz/s political positions.....like economic libertarianism and TPP....also fit into the far-out Dominionist teachings Cruz learned form his father/s preaching.

The elder Cruz preaches to Dominionist audiences, and tells his congregants that Rev 5:10 teaches that Christians are divided into Kings and Priests,.....the kings (politicians) go out and conquer the financial world and bring the money back to the priests (pastors in contemporary terms).

Ted and Heidi Cruz/s economic libertarianism also dovetails nicely w/ globalist Goldman/Sachs---who financed Ted into office .G/S is Heidi's $700,000 a year employer. So it looks like the Cruz/s have a head start in getting money back to the pastors.

====================================

Cruz should tell voters: <><> what role does he plan for his preacher father in the US govt, <><> what govt job does he plan to give his G/S globalist lawyer wife?

CRUZ/S NEW CAMPAIGN SLOGAN: a hero at the right time.

Well, he does look rather dashing in his Mountie uniform.

I believe every word especially the part about Sen Cruz being bestest buddies with Mitch McConnell. Sen Cruz really didn’t mean to call Mitch a LIAR in front of the entire Senate, it was a 45 minute slip of the tongue.

For Cruz to ace SC he/d have to resort to even dirtier tricks than he used in Iowa. Cruz/s incessant overbearing campaign seems to be determined to prove something to himself. Maybe its a Canadian-latino/s lack of self-esteem. Who knows? But the Oval Office is definitely not the place to go find your human potential.

==============================================

An oft-repeated FR rant is from those who say they don/t like Cruz but don/t know why. The reasons for those lingering doubts and why he isn't doing better in SC:

<><> Cruz/s industrial strength narcissistic personality.

<><> his lifelong self-absorption.

<><> putting himself first above others, always acting as
if he were better and smarter than the rest of humanity.

<><> a snob in spades....feeling he is destined for greatness.

<><> Cruz wouldn/t play team sports b/c he/d share the glory with others.

<><> His vaunted debate championship was not in the National Debate Tournament of 2-person teams;

<><> Cruz debated in a Canadian tournament where he received all the credit himself.

<><> his reputation in the Senate....where most of his
Senate colleagues despise him....is well-deserved.

(hat tip bigbob)

For a Harvard lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees, Cruz is sloppy about critical personal details....raising questions about Cruz/s honesty and character.

<><> questionable Iowa win;

<><> shaming Iowans w/ mailing of voting ratings;

<><> rushing to capitalize on Carson/s Iowa absence, claiming Carson quit, to steal black votes;

<><> Campaigning in 800 churches, video of his preacher/father stomping for him;

<><> does not know details of his Canadian birth;

<><> prolly voted into the Senate illegally;

<><> not a Natural Born Citizen;

<><> not eligible for office of Prez or VP.

<><> claimed his health insurance was cancelled; media reported it wasn't;

<><> Didn/t tell Texas voters and the FEC about Wall Street bank loans;

<><> Dallas Morning News exposed his citizenship problem.

<><>Mrs Cruz is on hiatus from G/S.....no word WRT getting paid by the Cruz campaign.

============================================

BACKSTORY Cruz/s Senate election fairy tale has become legendary......portraying himself as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.

He was whining in the media, telling trusting Texans that he, and his faithful little wife (a $700,000 globalist lawyer employed by G/S), were forced to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.

NOW TRUSTING TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin accounts at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).

Cruz did not disclose loans on FEC reports (required by law) b/c Texans would have discovered he was not the aw-shucks rube he pretended to be. He continued the rube act in order to milk votes from trusting Texans.

At the same time, he also did not disclose he was a dual Canadian citizen......the Harvard-educated lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees said he didn't know.

===============================================

Cruz told Levin he used the Wall Street loans for his Senate campaign/s TV ads......but these loans have never been reported as campaign-related. Cruz does not need the FEC/s permission to fully disclose the info. What is he hiding?
