I think we now know why Ben Carson and his campaign are making such a fuss over Ted Cruz’s campaign. The Cruz camp took advantage of the Carson campaign’s misstep in Iowa. The Carson campaign generated headlines that Carson was packing it up after Iowa and heading back to Florida. It read to a lot of people, including the Cruz camp, that Carson was dropping out.
No, according to Carson, he just needed clean clothes.
But since then, the Carson camp has bludgeoned Ted Cruz’s campaign for daring to rapidly respond to Carson’s news far more rapidly than Carson walked it back. We now know the reason.
The Carson Campaign is really just a consultant heavy direct mail operation that pooped out a Presidential campaign and they’re hoping to keep the money flowing by playing up outrage over the Cruz campaign. The Carson campaign is collapsing with major staff layoffs planned and more cuts to come after New Hampshire. The plans appear to have been in the works before Iowa, which means the outrage over Cruz’s campaign efficiency has more to do with trying to bleed more money from people out of sympathy than anything else.
If he is, it’s because Cruz gave him the ammunition to use against him.
Meanwhile they aren’t doing what normal campaigns do. . . . Campaign in the state where the primaries are being held.

Exactly, Carson is making him pay and getting a step up in the next state.
Ted already dropped to third which is dangerous because Rubio would be a continuation of the end of America.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy. But his “campaign strategy” is weird.
To believe that Cruz “stole†through a forwarded TWEET, you have to believe that a video or a cartoon causes Islamic terrorism.

Carson has not been running a serious campaign. After he refused to refute Trump’s baseless allegations in November, he has been sinking.

Carson has been dishonest about his entire Presidential run. It has been documented that Carson has his tour bus drive around in primary states when he isn’t even in the state. Carson’s entire campaign has been a money making sham. His book selling scam cost a young man his life and 3 others were seriously injured in Iowa because they were campaigning for him and wrecked on an icy road. Of course, Carson was no where near Iowa when it happened.

He sure did. Erick is in the tank for Cruz. Truth and or facts do not matter to him.
It was pretty obvious to me from the very beginning that this was fake outrage designed to keep the contributions comings and keep the gravy train running a bit longer.
It’s not weird when you realize the goal was never to win, but to make money.
Erickson is a Cruz supporter, however this doesn’t make his analysis incorrect.
Carson has already said more layoff are coming after NH. He is running a zombie campaign to promote his brand.
