Former President Jimmy Carter has weighed in on the 2016 presidential race. Taking off from his campaign to eradicate Guinea worm disease, Carter responded to a question put to him by a BBC reporter about who he would prefer on the Republican side. Donald Trump, he said, because he is âcompletely malleable,â unlike that Ted Cruz fellow who has all of those right-wing policies he would enact as president.

Cruz supporters are now the biggest Jimmy Carter fans. The man has been senile for years. No need to post his statements 36 times.

This just popped into my head:
To: Helicondelta
I’m a Cruz supporter and I’m not going to let a failure and a democrat like Carter influence my choice.
I do not believe that Trump is “malleable”. Trump may change his position to get the best outcome, but HE is changing his position, not someone else.

Trump is not very malleable but if demrats view him as such it means he is more electable in the general election.

Well, he’s right. Trump’s like most liberals. They embrace something only when it’s popular and abandon it or betray it as soon as it’s no longer fashionable. If ever there were a man who has demonstrated a character likely to betray, it’s Donald Trump.

Do you believe he funded Democrats and helped them win the 2006 election cycle? Do you believe he said he was a Clinton supporter? Do you believe he defended Bill Clinton? Do you believe he said Hillary'd make a great president? Do you believe he said he identified more as Democrat? Do you believe he supported partial birth abortion and would not ban it?

I hope he is NOT another Arnold Schwarzenegger who sold out those that voted for him. The democrats made fun of him for switching sides.

Funny how folks who sneer at Carter for the buffoon he is are so apt to decide he "makes sense" when it suits.
Makes us all look stupid.

This is at least 10 times this story has been posted in one version or another. Maybe we should start a drinking game. Carter endorses Trump, everybody drink!
