SAMUT SAKHON, Thailand (AP) â An Associated Press investigation found enslaved migrant workers and children ripping the heads, tails, shells and guts off shrimp at processing factories in Thailand.
AP journalists followed and filmed trucks loaded with freshly peeled shrimp going from one peeling shed to major Thai exporting companies. Then, using U.S. customs records and Thai industry reports, they tracked it globally. They also traced similar connections from another factory raided six months earlier, and interviewed more than two dozen workers from both sites.

Yet the AP will write endless drivel how white Americans must feel eternal guilt for slavery in this country that ended over 150 years ago in a bloody civil war that cost the lives of many white males.....
But hey, you know all other countries are better and more human than the United States of America....
I cooked a 12 ounce bag of shrimp last week. The bag said “Gulf Caught” which is why I bought it.
I tried a very simple way of cooking them and it turned out great.
I put the peeled and deveined shrimp on a flat aluminum griddle, brushed butter on each one, sprinkled a bit of black powder and garlic powder on them. I then baked them for around 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Actually I am not sure how long as I just checked on them a couple of times and noticed they looked done.
Turned out absolutely great.
They aren’t doing ANYTHING to the shrimp I buy, because mine come from the west coast of Florida.
Black powder ????
.
Darn, I just read my post.
I should have said black pepper instead of black powder. I do have lots of black powder but not used for cooking.
It better NOT have been for 20 minutes, because those shrimp would have been like rubber. :-)
I was afraid someone would catch that.
Eating foreign shrimp is not a good idea. Seen too many videos how they farm them in foreign places.
I hate cooking so I thought that it really could be some exotic spice.
:-)

Perhaps with their left hand? After taking a break?
I do my best not to buy foreign fruits, meats, or vegetables.
If an American option is available, I refuse to buy the foreign product.
I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast so good Gulf Coast shrimp and other seafood is plentiful for me.

Explosive shrimp flavor!
You’d know when they were done if you used black powder.
Here we go again! Now what? I’m a slave owner because I eat pre-peeled shrimp! That’s it! I want a card that lists all the things that makes the world hate me. AND I need a support group!
I’m white
I’m Christian
I’m American
I’m Conservative
I’m Male
I’m straight
I pay taxes
I work extra hours
I own a house
I am happily marred and have well behaved and intelligent children
Now I am a slave master too?
(What was this article about?)
What? You never heard of "Bang! Bang! Shrimp"?
