I cooked a 12 ounce bag of shrimp last week. The bag said "Gulf Caught" which is why I bought it.

Did it specify which gulf they were caught in?

If I’m very lucky, I will be catching and peeling my own shrimp shrimp, thank you very much. I usually won’t buy frozen or pre-cooked shrimp— I would rather do without if I can’t have fresh.

I think it said the “Gulf of Siam”. That is just South of Pensacola I think.

"I should have said black pepper instead of black powder."

In the old days, in hard times they actually used black powder to season meat.....so I've heard.

No, you can't get good help these days. I have to peel my own.

I buy only Gulf shrimp, from a reputable Louisiana brand.

Not my shrimp. I only buy wild caught, gulf, “product of the U.S.A.” shrimp. If it says “product of Thailand” or farm raised, it’s a no go

I’ve never cooked shrimp in the oven, but boiled or fried anything over 1 minute is probably too much.

I don’t care who peels farmed shrimp, they simply are not fit to eat compared to wild caught, especially with the massive amounts of chemicals and antibiotics that get pumped into the ponds they’re raised in.

As a kid, I enjoyed Negro Head canned oysters. Can’t seem to find them in the store these days.

Yes, by all means, let’s expose them and shut down those nasty factories - they’ll be better off starving to death without wages so that we liberals can sleep tight in our beds at night.

Amazing what the media can find when it wants.

Imagine if they had tracked bammy with such zeal.

Imagine if they tracked illegals with such zeal.

Imagine if they tracked terrorists with such zeal.
