Calling the right to bear arms obsolete, Huffington Post writer Warren Blumenfeld is now demanding that the United States "repeal the Second Amendment now!"
In his article "On Gun Violence: Uttering the Unutterable," Blumenfeld writes that he has to deliver hard truths.
"I love life, and I love the people of my country far far far more than I value the "freedom" to bear arms," he begins his article. "We must repeal the Second Amendment now!"
The Amendment is antiquated, according to Blumenfeld, who compares the amendment to the horse and buggy: "Possibly during former moments in our history, we may have had reason to enact and enforce the Second Amendment of our great Constitution, but those bygone days have long since passed. Now we must put the Second Amendment out to pasture."
The Founding Fathers, even if they intended for people to have legal access to guns, made many mistakes that show their judgement was questionable at best, he adds.
"These are the same men who owned and marketed enslaved Africans," Blumenfeld argues, "committed genocide against and expelled native peoples, withheld enfranchisement from women, engaged in and killed one another in duels, and so on."
And letting people own guns in the US hurts "everyone everywhere" except our enemies: "In the end, the realities of gun violence in the U.S. hurts everyone everywhere, with the possible exception of our enemies who desire to witness us defeated from within."
"When is enough, enough?!" Blumenfeld concludes.
These anti constitutionalists need to tell us just how they intend to confiscate millions of formerly legally owned guns. What would be the punishment if an owner just said no. Then what army are they going to send to South Chicago, NYC or Philadelphia.
They do, some people want anyone who disagrees with them on globule warming, climate change, or what ever they call it today arrest, tried and thrown in prison and silenced.
Scream a little louder.... use more exclamation points!!!!!... and write it in ALL CAPS.

Barack puposely flooded Mexico with US assult weapons to create as much death and destruction as possible to create a "crisis" from which he could sell and achieve gun control.
That didn't work and in the wake, US Border Patrol were killed with those weapons. He's still our president.
Obama's new plan is to flood America with ISIS killers so after every slaughter of Christians he can make the gun control arguement.

If I were in Congress, I would introduce a bill
“Amending the Constitution of the United States:
Article the First: The Second Amendment to this Constitution is herby repealed.
Article the Second: Congress shall, one year from the ratification of this Amendment, have the power to outlaw possession of firearms by persons residing within the Several States, and shall have the power to take possession of any privately held firearms without compensation.
Article the Third: Nothing herein shall prohibit possession of firearms by Members of Congress, their bodyguards, their limousine drivers, or any individual donating more than $10 000 to their reelection campaigns or to their mistresses.
Article the Fourth: If this Amendment is not ratified within seven years of submission to the States for ratification, Congress may not, in the future offer an Amendment to repeal or to modify the Second Amendment, and any statute passed by any Congress prior to the date of failure of ratification regulating the sale, transfer, granting or gifting of firearms between citizens of the several States shall be null and void.”
By all means, let’s put it to a vote.

These are the same men who freed the slaves, gave women the vote, and have stomped armies who would have readily subjugated the peoples of the Earth.
Not perfect, but if you find an alternative you like better, pack your sack and move there, because we will use those guns to keep what we have.
People aren't buying them like hotcakes to meekly hand them over.
Pretty amazing the voices screaming to repeal the 2nd amendment...after all these deaths by enemies who don’t and will never abide by our laws. ....not to mention the average thug on the street who never has a problem resisting the laws because most are not enforced to begin with.
We are still a nation of laws, but we are no longer a law abiding nation....worse yet there’s no enforcement behind those laws because it’s so easy to tie the courts up who have lost sight of what their job is....while attorney’s and judges smile all the way to the bank.
Let’s vote on repealing Blumenfeld instead. It would be nice if we could exile him. Any ideas where? .................. Not Israel, they’d think he was worthless.
