This is news from Louisiana on Sunday. Seventeen people were shot but survived when gunfire erupted on on a playground where a block party was going in New Orleans. If you did not hear about it, do not be surprised. It was barely news. It is amazing to think that there was not a huge media blitz, that there were not the standard outrageous, grandstanding tweets, or the ridiculous parade of pseudo-experts on CNN and MSNBC to spend hours talking about gun control. The endless blog posts, the overwrought editorials. None of those. And why is that?

Black guy. No crime here.
Well that explains it.

No Whitey to blame. Nothing to see here.
When a black man commits violence it is not news and does not advance the agenda, but if a planned parenthood facility is involved and a white guy, then facts don’t matter run with the narrative that advances the agenda. News is agenda - either it advances it the agenda or it is not news.

Gruesome.
Blacks shooting blacks. It happens so routinely that it is not exactly news, is it?
A more newsworthy headline would shout on the front page: “No blacks shot in America for a week!”. Of course, really unbelievable stuff like that is more suitable for the National Inquirer alongside alien abductions.
I just heard about this.
You’d think 17 people being shot would warrant at least honorable mention on the nightly news.
More proof the left does not give two sh*ts about gun violence. They care about who gets to point the gun.
The victims are black, the suspects are black. No chance at stirring the pot of racial animosity so move along.
But when a white guy kills some people, then it's news. Especially, when he shoots up a revered liberal institution.
Which is why I say, as far as the national media is concerned, it's not the lies they tell, it's the truth they hide.
yeah, black on black... it does not fit their narrative.
