I did not see the first part of the debate...I guess the first hour. But, having tuned in at 10:00, it was almost an hour before Cruz was asked a question at all. I can see that the bias in this debate it to give Kasich and Bush as much time as possible.
I can also see that they allow some to interrupt and continue talking WELL after the bell, while others are not allowed to finish their statements.
The candidates should stop agreeing to these debates and just agree with a venue of 3 or 4 different areas of the country, with a town-hall type format, each giving their views on each topic then answering questions from the audience. And those questions should be limited to allow each candidate a chance to answer questions.
Cruz just tried to answer a question that was asked to someone else, as their time elapsed, but Bush began after him and the moderators looked at Bush, even though he was interrupting Cruz. Wonder how much the Bushes paid FOX to give Jeb a good night? We know that Rove is on staff there, so I'd say that this was already in the bag for Jeb.
It is so ludicrous to hear Carly Fiorina talking about how she will be President (she doesn’t even believe it) and Jeb and Kasich being included.
It should be Trump, Carson, Rubio and Cruz.
It is so obvious, these debates are not intended to let the real conservatives have a real say.
Actually it was good they let Kasich talk, because he was the biggest loser of the debate.
Cruz did well, he was sharp as always.
Jeb was right behind him though.
EIGHT candidates..??! STILL..??
Come on, we need FOUR, or even less.
This is crazy, there’s a whole phalanx of them up there.
RIDICULOUS.
You are dead wrong, this was a great debate. Rubio and Cruz and dare I say Fiorina did well. Great questions, great job, probably best debate that I have heard.
Cruz did well. Not sure what to think of Carson’s performance, his “oddness” is hard to overcome no matter how he presents his ideas.
Too many people, and the lesser candidates are annoying trying to get their 2 cents in on every question.
Put Jeb, Carly and Kasich at the little kid table.
Let them make recordings and send them out to people who call a 1-800 number.
My vote is they leave the island..!!!
That’s just plain funny.
These 2 percenters interrupt and interfere.
Yeah I think so too.
I have to agree as far as debates go this was the best one so far.
Cruz won.
Rubio second.
Kasich just go away.
Carly sounds like a robot with her canned replies.
I’m not picking on you personally...I just have a problem with the whole concept of “did well” and “good performance.”
To me, it all comes down to who you believe/trust. Take Rubio, for instance. The guy can communicate well, but I don’t believe he’d stick to conservative values for even a day after moving into the oval office.
It was overall very good. The candidates talked on top of each other, but that was their own fault.
Clearly the network prefers Rubio. Not me. But oh well. It was overall good.
