Hope for Christian bakeries and women who don't want to see drag queens in the restroom
It was a year ago that the Houston City Council, with the backing of lesbian Democrat Mayor Annise Parker, decided that private businesses owned by Christians had no rights, nor did women who preferred to feel confident that those they might encounter in public restrooms who looked like women actually were.
Last night, in a demonstration that normal people have not traveled as far down the lunatic track as politicians, Houston voters repealed this nonsense:
Now that sounds like good news.
Good.
Sanity finally wins out. Now the lawsuits.
Now who is going to stop the rogue courts?
Good job Houston.
Good news all around today.
Note the false ‘equal rights’ b.s. language from the left. It’s special rights / prosecute Christians. But they won’t tell us that.
Saw a Fox News report on the transgender mental case at some high school who wants to shower with girls. It referred to the mixed up boy as “she” and “her.”
Liberals beat us with language first. They keep framing the debate so we can’t even participate.
Trump has awakened America
Obama will find a way to get it reinstated.
It looks like the “Supreme” Court is going to have to decide for us if it is “unconstitutional” to deny perverts their “right” to use the ladies room instead of the men’s room. What a joke! When are women going to stand up to this nonsense?!
The word “Nonsense” has not been removed. It should be used at the proper time.
I need some help understanding this. When have gays been discriminated against? The wedding cake incident? If that was discrimination, it was against the owners whose Christian beliefs were trounced on by government interference.
Gays are not discriminated against. And now with DOMA gone, the marriage piece is also off the table. So really the only “perceived discrimination” as I see it is trannies playing dress up and saying they are something they aren’t and we are supposed to change our lives and beliefs to accommodate this.
I hope at some point there will be enough ground swell of condemnation that the Judges of certain courts vacate themselves ahead of the mob.
I would also hope that we can eventually damage the existing Liberal media to the extent necessary to elect enough Representatives to impeach lying judges.
Got to remember there isn’t reason behind this.
If Christians ever forbade a bakery to create a tribute item to an event biblically identified as an abomination, it would have been decades and decades ago. It ain’t Christians with the chip on their shoulder. Even God is cool with letting those who absolutely insist on going to hell, get their wish. But they do NOT get to drag the rest of us to hell with them.
Anyone remember those numerous state constitutions that were changed in the last 20 years to stop the onslaught of perverted thinking in our society?
That was supposed to stop the wickedness.
This vote is good, but it is only the beginning.
Evil never stops. We must use the love of Jesus Christ to show the lost that they’re being deceived.
I work in Houston. A lot of the businesses that we have contracts with are in Houston. Many have said that they would move out of the city if this crap passed.
Thankfully it was defeated! Now I don’t have to be a transgendered lesbian when I am at work.
I WILL say, however .. the way YOU used it sounds so ... William F Buckley Juniorish !
A good checklist for love is 1 Cor 13, which gets around the common objection that love is weakness or acquiescence or excusing.
Love is the reason why God is caring how we live in the first place, and it is the reason why God is never stuffing it down our throats or making us into puppets without consent involved. God shows us hell, if need be, so that we will see that heaven really is the place we ought to be going. But the irascible grouch is as bad a picture of God as is the eternally indulgent and excusing grandfather in heaven.
I call it Super Rights for fags.
