What happened yesterday was not the end of the RNCâs poisonous hold on the Republican Party, but it was certainly the beginning of the end.
This revolution is beginning to look like the first one.
It was around this time in 1781 when reality came crashing in on British Commander Lord Charles Cornwallis at Yorktown Virginia. He was beaten and embarrassed by American patriots he considered rabble and was forced to watch his world being turned upside down.
Yesterday, just 160 miles away in Alexandria Virginia, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, another enemy who considers Americaâs patriots rabble, was forced to watch his world being turned upside down as well.
In both revolutions the enemyâs leaders were haughty and contemptuous of the patriots. Cornwallis continually reassured his bosses that he was going to beat George Washington in a final decisive battle; and on Friday, Priebus formed a 13 member committee who âwill set the rules for GOP debates.â
The Priebus Committee tried to play...

Cornwallis, possibly more than than any other British commander, knew the capabilities of the Continental Army.

I agree 1000% with Rush that trying to negotiate with these leftard defacto Democrat TV stations is counter productive. The GOP needs to be holding its own debates and hiring its own moderators and then if NBC or ABC wants to air the debate fine. Otherwise put it on the internet on Livestream and on CSPAN.

The RNC would rather lose to Hillary than win with a conservative.

Your right. The author should spend more time reading real books than the comic book variety. If he did he would have known that the Siege at Yorktown was decided by the French fleet's victory at the Virginia Capes. And also since half of Conrwallis’ opponents at Yorktown were French regulars, and European trained Continentals, it is doubtful he took them lightly. Cornwallis’ knew he was beaten before the battle even started, being cut off from all supplies and reinforcements. An interesting fact also is that Britain pretty much gave up on the war in North America two years earlier. Once France entered the war, the British allocated their resources to the defense of the Home Islands, India, and the Caribbean. They made the strategic choice of denying their forces in North America of any significant reinforcement.
