The Danger of the ObamaCare Agenda Exposed
Coach is Right ^ | 9/22/15 | Suzanne Eovaldi

The glaring unfairness of ObamaCare can be seen in the anonymous analysis done by a well salaried California engineer and his very low paid girlfriend, a part time mail clerk. The lady friend earns $18,000 per year to his yearly income of $60,000 to $ 125,000. “For me, making $60,000 a year, under ObamaCare, the cheapest, lowest grade policy I can buy, with a $5,000 deductible, costs $482 a month. His gal friend, holding the exact same policy with the same deductible, pays $1.00 a month! “That’s right, $1.00 per month. I’m not making this up,” he said. Can you believe this? He invites you to check out his figures at the ObamaCare website for California residents at www.coveredca.com. Put in zip code 93940 to check his stats.

This engineer is not only complaining that our country’s healthcare burden is being shifted onto hard-hit, middle class Americans and upper income wage earners, he holds most of his chagrin for the huge benefits illegal aliens are receiving. “A federally subsidized county medical complex that takes up an area about one-third the size of the Chrysler Corporation assembly plant in Illinois, “has the following state-of-the-art medical resources: 1) computed tomography and MRI devices; 2) 24 hour emergency room facility. All are “essentially free because almost everyone who ends up in ER is uninsured!” Can hard working, legal California/U.S. citizens get access to this outstanding medical center called Natividad Medical Center?

Are you kidding? “Last year, 2,735 babies were born at Natividad. . .32% were born to out-of-wedlock teenage mothers, 93% of which were Hispanic.” This is the group that Jeb Bush tells us came across the border to get better lives for their families. You bet they did, even before their babies...

We knew this was coming. It’s Socialism plain and simple and was the intention all along. A lot of people will dive low to get the bennies and then there will be no more bennies.

And employers are having their health care costs eliminated using under 30 hour part time employees and contained for full time employees thanks to the Cadillac Health Care Plan Tax which creates a ceiling for how much they will have to spend on employee health care.

Republicans say they will 100 percent repeal Obamacare, but then they go on to say they will replace it something new that is more ‘free market’ based.

Some people may get lower prices but the business elites that buy Republican politicians won’t be forced to pay health insurance costs like they had to do before Obamacare.

I support Ted Cruz but laugh when he talks about a new plan to replace Obamacare that makes health insurance “portable” which is his way of separating health care coverage from employer responsibility.

That’s what the corporate elites got from Obama with Obamacare and you want to keep it that way, Ted?

Trump connects better with working Americans who have lost their jobs and now work for less money.

In addition, they have to buy these expensive health insurance policies since their employers have been legally enabled to get rid of healthcare coverage by Obamacare.

There are four components to what is called “Medical Insurance” in the US today:

1. A pricing club (if you’re not in a plan or network, every medical cost is 2 to 10 times as much as the “real” price that the insurer pays)

2. A prepayment plan for ordinary, expected care

3. Some actual insurance... which is pooled risk sharing for improbable events

4. A redistribution plan.

The actual insurance component is probably no more than one-fifth of the premium, maybe less, depending on age.

You have to keep these four components in mind whenever there is a discussion about “insurance,” or you are participating in a shell game.

One gets the feeling this narcissistic a-hole and his puppet-master Soros have already put in enough poison pills and landmines that once their evil stench leaves the White Hut it's all going to collapse like a house of cards, precisely the way they and their America-hating cronies designed it.

The lunatic left will cheer...until the fires consume them too, then they'll be clamoring for their brain-fornicators(hollywood/academia)to provide comfort and guidance.

Fools.

Farther on he says that the girl friend can switch to a NO deductible plan and pay just FOUR dollars a month!

Employers were never legally required to offer health insurance. They did, and do so to attract employees.

Isn’t it interesting that thanks to Barack Obama employers are now legally not required to provide health insurance for part time employees (under 30 hours) and again thanks to Obamacare the employer costs for full time employees have been legally capped and contained by the Cadillac Health Care Plan Tax portion of Obamacare

I thought Obama was some sort of anti-business socialist.

He’s helping business to reduce costs here especially big business that invests a lot of money in politics.

And the Republicans talk about repealing and replacing Obamacare and making it ‘portable’ again legally separating health insurance coverage from employers.

We seem to have the best Uniparty politics money can buy in this country, I think.

No argument with your overall theme but, again, before the ACA employers were never required to provide insurance to anyone, regardless of the hours worked. Obamacare didn’t free them of any such obligations.

It freed them if they use part-time workforces which many employers do now more than ever. The ‘tax’ on “Cadillac Health Care Plan’ caps the total amount employers have to pay for health plans for any ‘full-time’ employees.

The host on WHP Radio (Harrisburg-R.J. Harris) in the morning thinks one reason Trump is so popular is because Americans who used to have better jobs now have to work less favorable ones and know things are worse. They look to Trump who promises a better stronger America with ‘jobs’.

His main concern is income, but benefits also are cut and hours in many of these ‘jobs’ older Americans and younger Americans are now forced into, because that’s what’s available.

I have children young and eligible for the workforce and I see what they are up against.

It didn’t used to be that way with health benefits, they were available for part-timers.

Obamacare relieves employers of healthcare costs and in that respect it is clearly like the single payer systems in Canada and Europe, although it doesn’t go all the way.

That could come down the line....

Before and after the ACA employers were/are free to offer health insurance to part time workers, or not.

I agree completely that employers are working hard to cut benefits and shift more of the cost and responsibility to the employees, but this has been a trend since long before Obama. Consider the demise of the company pension and the rise of defined contribution plans like 401(k)s.

If anything the ACA tries to reverse this somewhat by for the first time requiring larger companies to provide insurance. I think this approach has big problems but it is trying to address the problem of declining benefits for employees
