Last night’s debate showed that Doctor Carson will have to sit down because the Wile E. Coyotes at the Republican National Committee now have a new hound to try to hunt down Donald Trump. The GOPe is swooning over the fact that “Carly Fiorina held her own!”
Only in the Beltway could such an observation be made with a straight face.
In each of the polls available at this writing, at least 55% of respondents say Trump won and Fiorina is “right behind him” with about 16% of the votes.
So where is Doctor Ben Carson now? When many people, myself included, made fun of his Beltway supporters some of them were quick to use an NPR poll from New Hampshire saying “Carson has pulled even with Trump,” as proof their man was on the move. Of course the headline was written in Democrat-speak which holds that if their candidate is even at the edge of the Margin of Error, he is even; but that means little to the NRC. Carson is not “even” with Trump. He’s not even close to even and never was.

Trump is a jerk who simply does not respect other people. I’d vote for any other candidate but would stay home if he won the nomination. I’m sure there are other Republican voters who feel the same way.
GOPE really wants Hillary to win to prevent a conservative from taking apart their little Washington cartel racket they got going on.
It’s nice to get the questions given to you in advance of a live national ‘debate’. Life is good.

His support was a mile wide and an inch deep. Half an inch was just GOPe astroturf.
He refused to be the GOPe stooge and attack Trump (mainly because he has no ability to go on the offensive). The GOPe got sick of his waffling and offered their backing to Carly to see if she can be a “Not Trump” and sucker in just enough conservatives to bump Trump off and give an opening to JeBush.
But again, they refuse to understand that Trump’s base isnt looking for some GOPe-backed wannabe to jump to, no matter how pro-life or whatever she is. Her appeal will fade out the moment all of her tenure at HP starts to circulate. Not to mention her illegal immigration and Islam stance.
She is backed-up with Rove bucks, so she is a non-starter. Just another pony on the carousel.

There was no outstanding gap between any of the performers last night. They all did passably well.
And the whole GOPe world was lamenting Donald’s lack of political experience. Does Carly get a pass because Trump managed to fight them off?
