Ultimately the media will sell the GOPe the rope that hangs its pet candidates

Vladimir Lenin once boasted that, “The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.”

Today we are witnessing the suddenly Republican “friendly” Democrat media “selling” the Republican establishment the “rope” that will ultimately hang their favorite anti-Trump candidates.

What these oh so clever Wile E. Coyotes are doing is clear. They can’t avoid covering Donald Trump so they merely lie about him by commission or more recently omission. Since the “dynamite” they keep trying to use to blow Trump up isn’t working, they have taken to omitting the thrust of his talks (Trump doesn’t give speeches, he talks to Americans) and herein lies the eventual problem for Karl Rove and the RNC.

Last night Trump addressed a very enthusiastic crowd of veterans and those who care about veterans’ issues at the USS Iowa in San Pedro California. He made several clear statements about what he wants to do to help veterans. He spoke about giving veterans who can’t get treatment at VA hospitals the right to go to a private TRUMP 7 medical facility that would be paid what their services demand. He expressed the need to end the sequester system that is choking our military’s ability to protect us. And he said, “We’re going to make our military so big and so strong that we’ll never have to use it because nobody will want to mess with us.”

There is very believable anecdotal evidence...

There have been some things in my lifetime that I have witnessed:

What goes around, comes around=Karma

Don’t ask a question if you don’t already know the answer.

Don’t ask a question if you don’t want the truth.

Give enough rope to people and they will hang themselves.

...the suddenly Republican “friendly” Democrat media...

They are normally "Republican 'friendly' Democrat media" during the primary season making sure they influence the vote for their favorite loser. Once the primary is decided they revert to their normal Democrat vicious attack dog status for the remainder of the campaign season.

They have a list of things they will use against whoever is the Republican candidate.
With Ted Cruz, they KNOW he was born outside of the USA, but are waiting until he becomes candidate to raise the issue, day after day, 24/7, crawlers, talking heads, NYT front page, etc etc. They will not say a word about it until then.

I noticed this last cycle. Every few weeks a new candidate would rise to the top...and get kneecapped by the media. Almost as if they were holding back stories until the optimal time for destruction.

The media treats all GOP candidates as either:

Stupid, Dangerous, Scandalous

For Reagan, it was both stupid and dangerous, for Herman Cain it was scandalous, for Palin it was stupid.

Its a highly effective tactic. People who barely pay attention to politics hear the background noise that Palin is stupid, and they believe it. They can’t cite any real examples.

Now, I really don’t know how I feel about Trumps, or where he stands on many issues...but I do know that he seems to be above the media, and immune from this treatment.

The whole country already knows that. Only a simpleton actually believes it will hurt him.

I really don’t want to hear ANYTHING about Ted Cruz’s birthplace from anyone who signed up here after November 4, 2008. Comprende?

Last cycle it was collusion with the media. Once a splitter had served his purpose he was taken out by the media.

This cycle Trump is a spanner in the works.
