Working on my computer, I listen to music. While reading the posts on iOTWr, sputtering and letting my blood pressure rise because of the idiocy of the left and GOPe (like I did a few days ago), this song started playing: I Don’t Care Anymore by Phil Collins from 1983.
The lyrics struck a chord in me I dont care anymore what you say.
Both Democrats and RINOs, along with all the Social Justice Warriors, Perpetually Offended, PC Police, Perversion Purveyors, and For-Your-Own-Good Busybodies, tell us we are racist, homophobic, haters, intolerant, stupid and all the other denigrations to make us cower because we fear being called those names.
You know what?
“I dont care anymore. I don’t care what you say. We never played by the same rules anyway. I won’t be there anymore. Get out of my way. Let me by. I got better things to do with my time. I don’t care anymore. ‘Cause I remember all the times I tried so hard. And you laughed in my face ’cause you held all the cards. I don’t care anymore. And I really ain’t bothered what you think of me. ‘Cause all I want of you is just a let me be. I don’t care anymore, d’you hear? I don’t care no more. I don’t care what you say. I never did believe you much anyway.”
I Don’t Care Anymore
By Phil Collins
Well you can tell everyone I’m a down disgrace
Drag my name all over the place.
I don’t care anymore.
You can tell everybody ’bout the state I’m in
You won’t catch me crying ’cause I just can’t win.
I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore
I don’t care what you say
I don’t play the same games you play.
‘Cause I’ve been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there’s a means to and end.
They don’t care anymore.
And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
I don’t care anymore I don’t care no more
I don’t care what you say
We never played by the same rules anyway.
I won’t be there anymore
Get out of my way
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore
I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore
Well, I don’t care now what you say
‘Cause every day I’m feeling fine with myself
And I don’t care now what you say
Hey I’ll do alright by myself
‘Cause I know.
‘Cause I remember all the times I tried so hard
And you laughed in my face ’cause you held all the cards.
I don’t care anymore.
And I really ain’t bothered what you think of me
‘Cause all I want of you is just a let me be.
I don’t care anymore d’you hear? I don’t care no more
I don’t care what you say
I never did believe you much anyway.
I won’t be there no more
So get out of my way.
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I don’t care anymore
D’you hear? I don’t care anymore
I don’t care no more
You listening? I don’t care no more
No more!
You know I don’t care no more!
” We’re not gonna take it anymore!’
SICK OF IT ALL - DNC (Do Not Comply) (Lyric Video)
for all my fellow punk Freepers..

This serves as our protection
Long live the constitution
PRE-CHORUS:
DNC. DNC.
DNC. DNC.
CHORUS:
Ill always be a threat
To an unjust government
We should always be a threat
To the highest power.
Liberty or death!
Thanks for reminding me about this song. Yes, it is our theme song to be sung to the GOP Establishment and the Democrats.
Since the day that the Missouri State Police published their pamphlet stating that I, an American military veteran, was a threat to the country I served, and love, Mr. Phil’s song has become louder, and louder, and louder across this nation, and is played more on the radio, as well.
In Texas we like Guitar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vo23H9J8o8
May not have a message but it has a delivery that says TEXAS
NAAAAAHHHH, Trump got it right!
"You're all worthless and weak!"
Perfect song for his campaign.
“Dancing on your grave,” by Motörhead.
I was thinking something more along the line of Uprising by Muse:
“Uprising”
Paranoia is in bloom,
The PR transmissions will resume
They’ll try to push drugs that keep us all dumbed down
And hope that we will never see the truth around
(so come on)
Another promise, another seed
Another packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed
And all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(so come on)
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(so come on)
Interchanging mind control
Come, let the revolution take its toll
If you could flick the switch and open your third eye
You’d see that we should never be afraid to die
(so come on)
Rise up and take the power back
It’s time the fat cats had a heart attack
You know that their time’s coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
(so come on)
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(so come on)
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
(so come on)
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Its sister song:
Land of Confusion
also by Genesis
“Land Of Confusion”
I must’ve dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But I can hear the marching feet
They’re moving into the street.
Now did you read the news today
They say the danger’s gone away
But I can see the fire’s still alight
There burning into the night.
There’s too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can’t you see
This is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
Ooh Superman where are you now
When everything’s gone wrong somehow
The men of steel, the men of power
Are losing control by the hour.
This is the time
This is the place
So we look for the future
But there’s not much love to go round
Tell me why, this is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
I remember long ago -
Ooh when the sun was shining
Yes and the stars were bright
All through the night
And the sound of your laughter
As I held you tight
So long ago -
I won’t be coming home tonight
My generation will put it right
We’re not just making promises
That we know, we’ll never keep.
Too many men
There’s too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can’t you see
This is a land of confusion.
Now this is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth fighting for.
This is the world we live in
And these are the names we’re given
Stand up and let’s start showing
Just where our lives are going to.
I’m thinking the “Cavalry Battle Charge”.
