My heart really goes out to Mexico and its people. Mexico is a somewhat poor country with high unemployment.
Has it ever occurred to Donald Trump that the reason a half dozen or so drug cartels have settled there is because it is right next door to their best customers United States citizens?
How is such a poor country and government supposed to fight gangs that have more money and resources than the government? It appears Trump has found the real secret to reaching high political places find a scapegoat. It is a tactic that was used by Fidel Castro, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Iran, just to name a few.
Trump seems to have virtually no compassion or feeling at all for those less fortunate than he is. That is a truly undesirable characteristic in anyone seeking to become the president of our country.
ROBERT HARSH, Topeka
Unemployment is 5%.
So maybe Mr. Harsh will let a couple dozen illegals camp out in his living room. That would prove how sympatico he is with the downtrodden masses of the third world.
Yeah, sure it is.
Let’s just open the gates to the whole world.
Free everything for everybody!
Free money, free houses, free phones, free healthcare, free cars, free college.
No more poverty for anyone! Woo hoo!
And we can feel so good about ourselves too!
Peple are poor because of their own decisions and willingness to work hard.
I have no compassion for any of them.
Make your own way in this world or lie down and croak!!!
Are their numbers as fake as ours?
My heart just bleeds purple pumpkin pi$$ for those poor Mexicans, their wonderful country being taken over by drug cartels. So the spineless bastards do nothing about it by moving here and bringing their Mexican culture with them. They need to start a revolution, a civil war. Any other country we’d be encouraging it and supplying arms and training.
Just think, a Mexico just as prosperous, well governed with happy citizens just like Canada.
I think that wall of Trump’s is a step in that direction, force them to stay. They will have to put up with their government or force change.
And, I read an article last week, I believe it was, that Trump was the only candidate to go to talk with Hispanics in NY. The others were invited, but, he was the only one who showed up. Trump has addressed the drug cartels - they bring their drugs here - our money flows there.
Again, are those numbers real? I worked at the state unemployment office for over 15 years and I assure you that the numbers currently coming out of the USDOL are completely fictional.
What’s your point, are you and open border amnesty shill?
My point is that I don’t trust our department of labor, yet you’re asking me to trusty Mexico’s. And calling people “open border amnesty shills” for no apparent reason is (A) not a way to win an argument and (B) frowned upon at Free Republic.
80% of the LA illegals are on Gov. Assistance. Stats reported yesterday on FR.
Mexico’s unemployment is less than ours.
Illegal aliens are not immigrants.
They are not undocumented.
They are not Americans.
They are fraudulently documented foreigners.
Deportation is the cure.
> 80% of the LA illegals are on Gov. Assistance. Stats reported yesterday on FR.
And yet they won’t assist hardworking American who have paid taxes forever. Why? Walk into a Health & Human Services Commission office and look around. The answer will be immediately obvious. I betthey inwardly grin every time they turn away a white person or deny them the same amount of assistance. One day this is going to come back to kick them in the a$$ and I can’t wait till it does.
I’m sure Robert Harsh still lives with his Mom & Dad at age 48. A useless, leftist POS.
Yet they come here and wave a flash of a country that can’t even feed them
