Macy's is paying the price for sacking Donald Trump, because we've learned thousands of customers are cutting up their Macy's credit card in protest.
Sources connected to the department store tell TMZ, Macy's has received complaints from approximately 30,000 customers since ending its relationship with Trump nearly 2 weeks ago.
We're told the store has been "inundated with complaints" from customers who believe the department store is unfairly punishing Trump for his views on immigration.
Our sources say thousands of customers have vowed never to shop at Macy's again and many of them say they're cutting up their Macy's credit card to make a statement.
We're told the complaints have come in various ways, including phone, Facebook and email. A Macy's spokesperson would only say, "Our Facebook page is often times used by our customers to express their feelings or points of view. Many times it does not correlate to any action."
In this case, no, they can't.
People cutting up their cards are making a statement, they don't like Trump being attacked for bring up the illegal alien issue.
I think South40 is making the statement the she doesn't mind him being attacked over his stance on illegals.
Spot on! You can call it rearing their ugly rears. You know that those engaged in the libelous smear of Trump’s factual statement about the illegal Mexican border crossers are in the tank with the DemonRAT Socialists.
“This is EXACTLY how the Left operates. Their leaders LEAD, and the hordes of insane Liberals follow, knowing that their leaders will support their actions.”
Close, but slightly off. There are no “hordes” if liberals, but there are a handful, with high-speed Internet access - so they can appear to be “hordes”.
The only “hordes” are on our side, and we are FINALLY hearing a voice that hears us. That is what scares the hell out of the left.
I cancelled my account the minute Macy’s sided with illegal alien violence on American citizens.
Those fleeing The Donald reminds us of those fleeing Rush a couple of years ago.
When their quarterlies came in LOW, they were begging Rush to take them back.
As The Donald said, he was able to re-rent the dining halls abandoned by NASCAR and another concern — and he kept their deposits.
It will be interesting to see Macy’s quarterly.
“Im from Oklahoma and Dillards was always way better than Macys....”
Me too. Trump is a Yankee, but his values are way more like mine than the New York Macys
Sooner or later Freepers are going to have to look at his other positions. I support his message right now. I think Ted Cruz benefits from it because Trump is taking the fire off other candidates while forcing GOPe weenies to side with murderers and criminals. By the time they focus on Cruz they will be in single numbers in any real poll sampling.
However when the subject changes from immigration and trump has to talk about his other issues, unless he’s severely “evolved” people are going to have a good old fashion shock and drop him like a hot rock.
The shoppers will go shop at Gimbals....
Macy’s owners think it can’t happen to them. Gimbals owners thought the same thing once.
The Donalds ego has to fight back. Methinks it also serves as a warning to other businesses dont mess with the Trump or face the consequences. He’s the monopoly man— but I do like his vigor on the topics he’s preaching about.
They're the same company.
Boo to you!
Good for you—on raising the niece and the nephew.
Yeah, boo to me for not pulling the two kids’ credit cards in support of liberal Donald Trump.
Thanks. They're good kids. They deserve more than they life they were given.
Gave up Macy’s, wife now shopping pretty much at Kohls.
God Bless You. Best wishes and prayers for you and them. I can't imagine the circumstances leading to this were fun.
What a waste of scissors.
In the pre-internet days, cutting up a credit card meant something. It couldn't be used anymore. Nowadays, when a credit card is cut, it can still be used online. I foresee Macy's online business increasing. LOL.
It’s not as bad as you might think. Their folks split up years ago and Mrs 40 and I took them in what we thought would be a temporary arrangement. They were 8 and 10 at the time. It turned out to be not so temporary but we have no kids of our own so we’re good with that.
Macys could move to Mexico City
