I want more Saints!
Makes my teeth hurt just thinking bout it.
Vigilantism is a nice fantasy, that we could just go around being judge, jury and executioner upon the world’s bad guys. There are times I would love to be able to burn down a drug dealer’s house or shoot dead a known child molester.
This kind of sort of conflicts with my duties as a Christian and of course, is slightly illegal as well.
The bottom line is simple. Sometimes it just sucks being a good guy. The evil people have every means at their disposal. For good people, it not only matters what you do but how you do it. We don’t have the same unlimited palet of death and destruction they have. We are supposed to live our lives within the law and by God’s law.
But it is a nice fantasy — to be judge, jury and executioner on the bad guys.

and there is something to that, I think, because of the popularity of all the superhero movies/tv shows. Hubby and I just watched the Netflix 'Daredevil' series. :)
