Mark Levin: 'We’ve Had a Silent Coup in This Country'

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin said that “we’ve had a silent coup in this country” with the Obama administration taking over healthcare, targeting the suburbs, and nationalizing the local police.

“His government doesn’t have the authority to do any of these things, but he does it,” Levin said on his July 8 broadcast. “Well, if that’s not martial law, what the hell is? We’ve had a silent coup in this country.”

Here is a transcript of what Levin said:

“So, Obama’s pushing the ‘browning of America,’ not my phrase, theirs, ‘with open amnesty.’ Even if it means murderers, rapists and whatever come in. His friends in the sanctuary cities, he hasn’t spoken against a sanctuary city yet, has he? Despite the mayhem and the murder?

Our side proving yet again that the only thing we are effective at doing is pointing out the obvious.

We talk about how criminal this administration is. We scream and decry all the examples of lawlessness. We cry foul over multiple violations of the Constitution, and then suggest that adding to the Constitution will somehow solve violations of current Constitutional law. But the one thing we DON’T talk about is...WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT?!?!?! I’m talking other than pissing and moaning and running to government to solve government problems! We act like we have NO personal responsibility in this. It’s always someone else’s fault, when in all reality, THIS IS OUR FAULT!

the coup happened in September 2008 when our financial system was attacked

when Pres Bush finally spoke to the American people about the emergency measures planned, he had tears in his eyes

Treasury Secretary Paulson threatened to use armed force to keep Congress in the Capitol Building until they acquiesced to his demand for a $700 Billion slush fund to bail out the banks

That my friend, was a coup, designed to elect Barak Insane Obama- among other goals

and the band played on

The leadership sure the hell is. When the only balls and desires they have are to punish conservatives they sure the hell are.

We have had a coup in this country and the Constitution and Bill of Rights has been shredded. Read the Declaration of Independence and pay special attention to the abuses and usurpation's list as reasons for for breaking away from England. Those abuses could just as easily be applied today as they were in 1776. The seeds of a new American Revolution have been sown and I expect that in my lifetime there will be an armed rebellion against a tyrannical government just like in 1776

>>BHO won two national elections by rather significant margins in both cases.<<

Did he win as a result of free and fair elections?

Did the federal government use various agencies to pervert the electoral process? Did the IRS shelve conservative 501c3/4 applications for the sole purpose of shutting down opposition?

Did the IRS target conservative voices during an American election cycle for the express purpose of silencing opposition?

Did foreign entities pour cash into our elections in an effort to sway an American election?

Was there evidence of massive voter fraud? Were there thousands of illegals voting in our elections?

Did the DOJ file multiple frivolous law suits against conservative leaning states claiming violations of the voting rights act and or voter discrimination?

These were not free and fair elections. Specifically during the 2012 cycle. Obozo may have won, but coordinated tactics utilized during the election cycle was reminiscent of the Soviet Union.

I don’t deny for a minute the Dems cheat in elections. They’ve been doing it for years. Reasons why they favor lax enforcement of immigration laws and lax security at polling places. But was it enough cheating to change the outcome of the past two presidential elections? I don’t know.

FDR won big in four presidential elections. Was he cheating too?

Maybe the masses want big government and freebies.

I am opposed to mass democracy. I favor a limited government republic.

Ted Cruz on RINO leadership sellout......

That Tuesday lunch began with our leadership saying, “We’re asking every Republican senator here, to affirmatively consent to lower the threshold for Harry Reid to take up the debt ceiling, from 60 votes to 50 votes. And we were told, everyone of you should agree for two reasons.

Number one, if we do this, it will happen, and hallelujah, hallelujah, that’s what we want. We want trillions more in debt with no spending reforms, because we’re scared of this issue. We don’t want to have a political fight on this.

But number two, if we do this, the Democrats will have the votes to do it on their own, which means all of us Republicans can vote no. And we can go home and tell our constituents, we opposed the thing we just consented to allow happen.

Now, I was sitting there — to be honest, I hadn’t gone to lunch intending to pick a fight, but as I listened to that, I was astonished and I raised my hand, and I said, “There’s no universe in which I can consent to doing that. I spent two years campaigning across Texas, telling Texas, if you elect me, I’ll fight with every breath in my body to stop the out of control spending and debt that are bankrupting our kids and grandkids.”

If were to do that, I think it would be both dishonest and unfaithful to the men and women who elected me.

Oh I’m certain there were sinister people with sinister intent behind the events of 2008, but I’m equally convinced there were sinister men with sinister intent behind the imposition of the unconstitutional income tax and creation of the Federal Reserve. We haven’t been as free as the Founders intended in decades.

And we re-elected Republicans to stop the madness.

Yep. They’ll get right on it.
