Are You Done Yet? (Obamacare)

I'm serious.

Are you done yet?

Are you ready to grab the wood, the nails, the hammer and the rope?

Are you ready to demand that this crap -- all of it in the medical system -- be stopped?

All of it -- not some of it, all of it.

Monopolist practices, refusal to disclose prices before services are rendered, billing $157 worth of a nutritional supplement out for more than $44,000 and more?

WHEN IS YOUR TOLERANCE LIMIT REACHED AMERICA?

WHEN?

Is it before or after you're financially and personally decimated?

Why do you tolerate "Obamacare" or "Medicare" when you still have a 20% co-payment and the price of the entire medical service should be 1/10th to 1/5th of what it is today, meaning you should be able to pay cash for the service in the amount you pay now and have no insurance to pay whatsoever?

If this crap was stopped -- all of it -- that's how it would be!

"For $44,000 a month for a nutritional supplement -- I don't see what that could be other than a scam," said Dr. Jeff Blumberg, the director of the Antioxidants Research Laboratory at Tufts University and a leading expert on nutritional supplements.

So tell me what part of the existing medical system isn't a scam?

How many times do I have to outline the scorpion antivenom that costs $100 but is billed out at $30,000, the under $100 worth of OVER THE COUNTER nutritional supplement that is billed out at $40,000, the "routine birth" that in inflation-adjusted dollars from a 1963 price should cost under $1,000 but instead is more than ten times that much, the person who gets a half-dozen stitches and is billed thousands, the person who is billed for a "trauma team activation" that never occurred, the out-of-network doctor who sticks his head in your hospital room while you're damn near unconscious and then balance bills you for $2,000 for saying hello and more?

That the "medical system" has made this sort of rampant financial rape legal just means you're being robbed by government goons with guns -- oh sure, they do it with "laws" and "regulations", but the outcome is the same.

Your wallet is empty and you're still screwed.

WAKE THE HELL UP AMERICA AND PUT A STOP TO THIS CRAP -- ALL OF IT -- RIGHT NOW.

Karl Denninger has been running posts on this subject frequently for years. I do try to get them on Free Republic but they're always removed. Must be the foul language. You can tell Karl really gets his chain jerked on the subject.

We're not going to take NAFTA, yet here we are.

We're not going to stand for Obamacare, yet here we are.

We're not going to stand for restrictions on the 2nd Amendment, yet here we are.

We're not going to stand for TPA/TPP, yet here we are.

For those awaiting some 'trigger event', there will be none. By the time you realize what's happening, you'll already be frog stew.

Good job, 'Merica! It was a good run.

This is a good question but so is this one:

When will it be time for civil disobedience?

Haven’t we had enough yet?

One of my former employees now has better health insurance than I do all courtesy of on obammy care supplement.

I have bronze, he has silver.

When will it be time for civil disobedience?

When we can no longer control our government at the ballot box.

IMHO we're pretty close to that threshold.

I was speaking with a young financial whiz kid yesterday about the market. He said a lot but one of the things he said that is probably true is that the dramatic market event that gets us is the one we all don’t see coming... frog stew.

We have been taking three steps back and one step forward in recovery for decades. The sum of the progression is backwards compromise and it got us here. The fatal act is obongo and the steady progression of an already weak nation backward into the pit of failure.
