Boeing Shrinks Toilet Area to Add 14 More Seats
AOL News ^ | June 10,2015 | AOL News

Boeing just announced plans to make their bathrooms smaller so they can fit more seats on the plane! So if you're claustrophobic, you might want to hold it. Boeing is shrinking the toilet area on the 777-300ER models to make them more marketable to airlines who will want extra seats on the plane, but passengers, would probably rather the extra leg room.

Boeing says they'll be able to cram 14 extra seats on the triple seven with the tiny toilet model. It's all part of a plan to make the planes lighter. Another way Boeing will lighten the plane by 12-hundred pounds is to restructure the overhead storage bin area.

The new design with mini toilets will be shown at the Paris Air Show later this month, and the upgrades should be ready next year in time for the first deliveries of the new triple sevens.

With the size of America's girth getting bigger all the time, I don't see Boeing making any headway in its competition with Airbus regarding seat configuration. Fourteen extra seats are great but if the girth problem causes undo delays when someone's trying to unhinge themselves from the toilet but can't, the emergency crews gotta have that procedure done by direct force. You see, several years ago someone with a perfect butt-plug fitted girth got stuck on a toilet unable to get the strength to remove themselves from the toilet. But as hard as they tried the couldn't budge off the seat. The reason is that the new bathrooms on the lane use a suction system to keep things lowdown and out of the way. But his guy with his airtight butt and the suction trying even harder not to let go, kept the passenger on the toilet seat many hours longer. So, now if it's Boeing , it's just not going. I suppose it was a painful ordeal probably trying to dislodge this whale but with metal rods or something, They finally got him off the seat but I'm sure he had some heck of a ring around his supersized rear end.

. Then with the smaller bathrooms it's going to be problematic dealing with the new enrolees in the Mile High club, which by the way is now a crime if you're caught in the bathroom with more than one person attempting the nasty.

Why not make every seat a toilet?

On a few airlines, who’s notice the difference.

LOL. I suppose that’s why you’re still in the shoe business. Still very funny.

Just get rid of the toilets and hand out diapers. They would be free at first then eventually the airlines will have a $50.00 diaper fee for each diaper. They will of course work with the TSA to ban you from bringing your own diaper because it might be a WMD.

Anyone who flies on airliners these days has already surrendered their freedoms and will be easily herd into camps someday.

Wow! how are they going to fit 14 more toilet seats in the lavatory when they are shrinking them?

I guarantee that some of the diapers I’ve encountered would be classified as a WMD by the TSA.

Wait till the EPA requires a catalytic converter be added to both engines.
This is a wide open window for leading ‘16 candidates to focus on.
This directly effects a ultra blue state with impossible regulations.

Ok, normally I am anti-government regulations, but this has gone beyond the pale and is not bordering on unsafe. There needs to be a mandatory seat size, center isle width and bathroom size. And these standards should be sized around a 6’ 2” 220 lbs male or a person that is in the 80 percentile.

This is getting ridiculous. There is no room to change a baby’s diaper in the bathrooms NOW. My poor incontinent father can’t be changed on a plane because the bathrooms are too small to allow privacy with his caregiver. Disabled people can’t get to their seats and often have to catheterize themselves for flights because they can’t get to the restroom.

There is no space between total strangers on these planes. Sardines have more personal space in the can. Enough already.

Make the planes comfortable, make one of the lavs accessible for all, and charge thousands more. Better not to fly than to be treated worse than concentration camp trains.

Airliner toilets are already “fat man’s misery”, making them even smaller helps - who?

Because of the problems of REMOVING the impacted individual are sure to lead to even more delays, and untold misery for the people who are now unable to gain access to the facilities, and without a sufficiently large plastic receptacle into which to relieve themselves.

They will be squatting in the corners of the airplane aisle.

Funny story. I was at home once on trash day, when my neighbor who had recently had a baby put the contents of her Diaper Genie out with her trash.

The unionized trash collectors broke open the bags and just left a pile of soiled diapers in the middle of the street. Outraged at my tax money going to fund this sort of laziness, I called to complain.

Two hours later a FULLY SUITED HAZMAT TEAM arrived and removed the diapers. Federal regulations, I reckon.

Guess air travelers will just have to learn to poop standing up.

Instead of urinals, they’ll have defecals.

‘better not to fly’

Yep. That's Obama’s plan. More regulations will cause higher ticket prices and price more and more out of the ability to fly. It's all in the plan to make us more like Europeans. Americans have been spoiled by freedom, higher wages, better health care, etc. It is time to bring the hammer down on all the excess that Americans have enjoyed. Oh, and I guess we better lose that extra weight (thanks, Moochie) so we can fit into an even smaller cubicle to do our business on the airplane. That's the ‘Hope and Change’ that the First Royal Family in the WH believes in.
