Baltimore's minimum (called ‘living’) wage is much higher : ~ $11.50 per hour.

Recall how we are lectured that outlawing these low paying entry level jobs will create better paying jobs, because they all get a raise which they spend.

Yep, no HS degree, no work experience, probably an arrest record (try looting businesses) . Sure they will get $12 per hour..

Then why are thees same libs complaining about lack of these jobs in Baltimore???

Chris Matthews and others calling for congress to pass a ‘summer jobs’ bill for these hellholes because of the lack of entry level job opportunities in them.

Simple solution : Raise the Baltimore living/minimum wage to $17 per hour, its *free* as libs always lecture us.

Most of the folks on disability I interview at a local food/clothing/etc bank twice a week would disagree. Average disability check I see is 700/month, hardly "big $$$."

IMHO, about 40% of them would/could be better off w/ a job.

After interviewing hundreds of these folks (bearing in mind the interview has nothing to do with their "disability," just that they get a SSI check every month), IMHO the SSI system needs a periodic review in which the applicant must prove, via doctor statements, etc. that the disability still exists. I suggest once every three years.
