Hillary Clinton will become the quintessential online presidential campaign candidate today when she throws her hat in the ring via an online YouTube.
While chattering classes are caught up in President Barack Obama’s statement that he thinks Hillary Rodham Clinton would be “an excellent president”, his added thought that she “will have a strong message to deliver” if she does decide to run, will go without much notice.
Clinton’s long-anticipated second run for president will be managed by Google, the world’s largest search engine, which has nominated itself as the Grand Central of Truth-Telling.

This needs to be remembered, if Google is actively promoting the other side when we win there needs to be consequences. Just like Val Jarret said.
Yesterday I used Chrome to search “ted cruz 2016” and ended up with a bunch of results regarding run for the Senate!
Added “president” to the search and results were pretty much the same.
Tried again in Firefox and his 2016 campaign website was the first or second result.

Google hasn’t cleaned up the images that come up for Hil... although the first image that comes up is the one that makes her look the most attractive and young. It will depend on how many clicks the other photos available get, in order to move them up. I’m sure her campaign is using a program that is garnering photo views for the favorite pic they want out there.
Despite the media falling all over itself with excitement, I have a strong feeling the “big announcement” is going to be a major bust. First of all, it’s on a springtime Sunday, when most Americans have better things to do than watch a politician well past her sell-by date tell them something they’ve been expecting to hear for years. Secondly, because it’s a video, thousands of wiseguys (and wisegirls) will instantly get busy posting withering parodies online. And, third, it’s well-established by now that any time Hillary makes an appearance, her popularity rating actually drops.
That would make a great bumper sticker...

well, I just tried “ted cruz 2016” in Bing and Yahoo and got better results than I did yesterday with Google.
Sigh, maybe my main search engine ought to go back to being an encyclopedia.
