2016 Senate races before 2014's congressional victory was even secured-Senate Republicans will have to work hard to retain their recently won majority as they face a tough 2016 electoral map.The current unprincipled Republican leadership -who never had any intention of fulfilling promises made to conservatives- were handed an awful lot of power in 2014, and it's hard to see anybody happy with their 'performance' -or willing to swallow their excuses- anymore... I'd say substantial voter disappointment with Boner and Musty Mitch is all but a certainty by 2016 (I already want to choke them).
They have 24 seats up compared to Democrats' 10, including seven in states President Obama carried twice. Democrats won't have any red-state senators facing reelection and could be buoyed by a favorable presidential-year electorate.
Republicans do have some margin for error after their sweeping 2014 win netted them nine seats for a 54-seat Senate majority. Democrats won't have it easy either, with Senate Leader Harry Reid (Nev.) facing a strong challenge.
But Democrats are cautiously optimistic they can win back control just two years after losing it and Republicans admit that they have a fight on their hands.

FOCUS on the real problem:
The GOP cannot even get Boehner or McConnell to ACT
as conservatives.
They are Obama-treason-enablers,
ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE-enablers; and always have been.
What has McConnell done to block anything King Barack I has done?
This guy is personally ARMED TO THE TEETH -as is his security detail- but of course he’s one of the most rabid opponents of 2nd Amendment rights... ‘do as I say, not as I do’ yet again
But Ted Cruz won’t have one speck of influence on the party’s senatorial campaigns heading into 2016...
TED CRUZ is securing the White House. Sarah Palin will rally the troops.
TED CRUZ

Not a damn thing
WRONG! Cruz has already affected the narrative, moving it more toward conservatism in every race, if he does nothing else. He's winning. He's getting $$s and volunteers.
Conventional wisdom can't figure this one out.
I know that liberal republicans hate it, but it's good to rub their noses in it every once in a while.

Does anybody have a list of Senate seats up for reelection? I hope there are some promising candidates out there like there was last election. We need to clone Tom Cottton!
McTurtle is different exactly how?
FEDUP with the same old, same old ?
Go TEDX TEDERAL EXPRESS where you simply, have to vote conservative to Cruz to victory .
TEDX TEDERAL EXPRESS : is the conservative’s choice to fly to victory on Cruz control.
May God cruse him with internal maggots that infest them selves from the inside out. Like King Herod III
Yup, they once in a while need a crap filled hanky to wipe their faces with.
Your absolutely correct, conventional wisdom has grown stale this time around, the old rules are gone out the winder ( window for nothern folks ).
Old rules and the old GOPe need not apply.....
Ted Cruz is a unconventional character in this play.
In a good way Ted Cruz is a calculating sly fox.
( George C. Scott in Patton’s voice )
TED CRUZ YOU SLY FOX YOU !
YOU CAUSED THEM TO VET ( the vetting process ) YOU WITHOUT BREAKKNG A SWEAT !
YOU CAUSED THE LEFT AND MEDIA TO LOSE IT WITH THEIR HATEFUL SHRILL TO DRAW THE INDIES AND MODS TO YOU TEDDY !
TEDDY ? YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD !
Freudian slip?
I hope you’re right, but the Rove machine is still running hog wild down at the RNC... and of course McConnell looks to be doing nothing for conservatives or anyone else
The Stupid Party could easily lose the Senate- a lot of GOP seats are up
Yeah, curse I meant,
May God of Israel like King Herod III curse him with maggots from the inside out.... Slimy Shumer
Yes, I meant curse, not cruse.....
I'm a conservative, not republican.
I work hard to make sure that liberal republicans are politically destroyed.

Same here, ‘conservative’ first- but without taking over the GOP as Reagan did it, we conservatives will have no framework, organization, or structure for gaining any power or influence for the near-mid term
And this country can’t wait ten years for a 3rd party to gain critical mass... if you’re a conservative that wants to take the country back, you’ll never do it without the Republican Party
Even if a Ross Perot type won, he’d have no power base... some loose association of ‘conservatives’ on the Hill won’t work
