Ah, I’d wondered where Low Churchmen who wanted to adhere to the Gospel instead of following the ephemera of the Zeitgest decamped to when they left Anglicanism. Assemblies of God?

Most of us former High Churchmen ended up becoming Orthodox — a surprising number of OCA and Antiochian priests are Nashotah House graduates — or going to Rome.

Well said. VERY well said, in fact.

May I borrow for a discussion in another (non-Freeper) forum?

That was the 13th century; a stain on the past. Islam is a stain on this week.

“Like the story of the Cathars — a Christian sect deemed heretical in the 13th century and savagely butchered by Christian Crusaders in France.”

Are we to take a position of moral equivilancy between this 700 years ago and ISIS today raping, beheading, murdering Christians, Muslims and other sects by the thousands today — February 6, 2014?

A skirt who thinks that her being called a priest, or would that rather be another stolen title, priestess, gives her the authority to tell ALL Americans, of which there are a lot more in number than her pew-brood, that her support is behind the Queer-In-Charge-Who-Plays-AT-Being-A-Mohammedan, means a plug-nickel’s worth, once she is in the hands of a Sharia court.

She is no more an American, than the QIC!

And it was reported the day before that Isis was executing boys, burying them alive, crucifying children and turning them into slaves.

How does she factor that in?

That he fails to give that same benefit of the doubt to Christianity says a lot about his character. That an alleged Cristian priest would defend him in his hypocrisy says a lot about the quality of today’s alleged Christian priests.

Well, she's an Episcopalian. The Episcopal Church was invaded by "progressive" nuts years ago.
