Holy moly, there must be something in the water today. First Friedman, now Woopie. (Ok, this was really first, but I read them in reverse order.)
She is right, of course.

The View is on the ropes - even Rosie dresses, and is made up, to seem more conservative and less...piggish.
Still won't discount that a personal family issue has Whoopie (we're all gonna die) with a few scraps of sense...

My mother’s first husband was killed by a sniper in Germany during the lasts two weeks of the war. My mother never said anything vicious about snipers - ever. But she was a mature woman who knew the nature of war. She greatly mourns her lost husband to this day.

My mothers first husband was killed by a sniper in Germany during the lasts two weeks of the war, And lots of other husbands and fathers were killed ... by grunt infantrymen, by gunners, by pilots, by bombardiers, by torpedomen ...
My mother never said anything vicious about snipers - ever.
She demonstrated sanity. I'm not at all clear on why anyone would hate snipers, but not hate grunts, gunners, pilots, etc. It just makes no sense.

You make an excellent point. I do have some admiration for snipers because of their brilliant skills. In Medieval times they were called “men of keen sight.”

Simo Hayhak (Finnish WWII sniper) killed over 500 Russians in 3 months with a Mosin-Nagant... iron sights... no scope.
Definitely not a coward and proof of that was the pic where part of his face is missing... (he lived).
Michael Moore is a feral hog.

Moore claims snipers are cowards? What a load of crap.
“Moore, meanwhile, tweeted that his father taught him snipers are cowards.
Your father? Satan?

Could not imagine that kind of response ever coming from Whoopi Goldberg. She's a little like Bill Maher... kind of a loose cannon, and you never can quite predict what side of an issue she'll end up on.
