On this Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, instead of listening to irreverent race-baiters like Reverends Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, let us imagine what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his colleague Rosa Parks might say about race relations in America.
First, Dr. King would remind us that in previous decades, white people were never indicted, let alone convicted and incarcerated for willfully killing black people. White lynch mobs would preen for cameras following their savage murders of black people, brazenly smiling because they knew that no white jury would convict them.
King would retell the trial of the Scottsboro Boys, in which a white judge set aside a corrupt guilty verdict, knowing full well that the nine young African-American men did not rape a white woman of dubious reputation and loose morals. A white lawyer from New York represented those black defendants, and shortly afterward blacks were serving on Alabama juries.

If King were alive, he would repeat his past sentiments.
He would call our troops war criminals and say that the U.S. is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world.
He would call for income redistribution and reparations.
He would affirm his past views that there is no hell, no Second Coming, no Virgin birth, and that Jesus only attained divinity through “moral struggle.”
King was a leftwing radical who would fit in just fine with Jackson and Sharpton.
Sadly, you’re probably right. :(
I have a feeling a LOT of Americans are going to celebrate MLK day by going to see the movie American Sniper.
Robert E Lee’s birthday tomorrow.
I don’t know anybody who cares about someones race. I grew up in New York city so maybe I’m use to different races, but I go to other places, states and nobody gives a damn. There is prejudice on the level that if you see a black teen dressed like a gangsta it can make you wary, but the same goes for white teens as well. You see a bunch of white teens wearing hoodies and low pants late at night down an alleyway it would make you think twice walking down there. The point being is all I hear day in day out is race race race racism, he is racist, she is racist, they are racist, that is racist blah blah blah which to me is really insulting to the blacks who went through REAL racism 50 plus years ago. Al Sharpton? He grew up in New York city in the last 1950s and 1960s. That fool has absolutely NO idea what real racism is which is probably why he’s always protesting things as racist that aren’t.
Yes, the Third World conquest of America is proceeding without organized resistance. Indeed, it looks like those people who organized and governed our society for centuries have totally surrendered to a life of eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels, snoring and attending “The Games.” The aforementioned behaviors shall continue until the new masters put and end to them. Then a life of poverty, ignorance, abuse and even death shall ensue.
Did you know MLK was a registered Republican?
My guess is that if MLK were alive today he would be appalled by BHO and Al Sharpton.
I’m not big MLK fan but he did espouse some moral values that are lacking in today’s black leaders.
Not according to today's "civil rights" leaders.
>>If King were alive<<
he would continue to screw every woman in reach.
For a “reverend” he was one heck of a hypocrite.
I can’t stand that communist loving, Jesus denying, women abusing idiot.
The man who deserves a holiday is Jackie Robinson. He was a true American hero and without him there never would have been a Civil Rights
Movement.
He was not a Republican.
His niece, Alveda, who is a conservative, admitted that she was wrong about that.
His own words and actions are on record, and they prove he was a liberal radical and a Communist sympathizer, if not an outright Communist.
“Moral values?” He was a serial adulterer, he enjoyed participating in orgies, and he beat women! Good Lord, why have conservatives swallowed the Kool-Aid about this man?
Exactly.
There's little doubt about, the people that write the history control history.
I agree with you.
It’s incredible. We rightfully condemn other leftists for having the exact views held by King. Why does he deserve anything different?
MLK day....it’s like Kwanza, right?
>>MLK day....its like Kwanza, right?<<
If kwanzaa was created by White people.
During that era most blacks were Republicans. Did you not know this?
As I said I am not a big MLK fan as he was a flawed creature but he did preach a non violent approach to civil rights. I give the guy credit for using the smartest approach to achieving racial equality.
At that time in the South where I am from and grew up Blacks could not drink out of the white fountains, use the white public bathrooms, eat in a restaurant or sit in the front of the bus. In the movie theatre they were relegated to the balcony and they were not allowed to live in white neighborhoods or attend white churches or schools. The only Blacks I ever knew until after I graduated college were my Mom’s maid and my Aunt’s maid.
I lived this period and I was witness on a daily basis to it. I was a kid so I just thought it was the way things were supposed to be. I now realize it was wrong and I would not want to go back to that way of life. But the Democrats were the party that instigated and upheld that way of life. No Black person in their right mind would have registered and voted Democrat.
Please don't repeat that debunked myth.
Oh but I just did. Read post 18. :-)
