Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala) will not be the incoming chairman of the Senate Budget Committee. He has been pushed aside in favor of Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo) despite having served as the top Republican on the committee for the past four years.
It came down to a simple question of who was acceptable to President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ken) said. While Senator Sessions has served competently while our Party was in the minority, the President has made it clear that someone more agreeable must man this vital post going forward.
The time for contesting the priorities of the government must give way to a time of cooperation and compromise, McConnell explained. Senator Sessions voted with Senator Cruz on the recent Cromnibus bill and against our Partys leadership. Senator Enzi supported both the Partys leadership and President Obama. He is the type of team player this country needs if we are to efficiently conduct the governments business.

Are you certain this is satire?
McConnell and Bonehead are the worst kind of DC establishment slime. Why do we even have a Senate and House? For that matter, why do we even need a government when obozo plays the role of King and controls it all? I surmise that the people's outrage at DC will not and can not be at rest forever!
Funny... sad that GOPe would try it. We tea parties need to tell the GOPe that if conservatives are shut out of leadership positions, we will tell the GOPe to take a hike.
OOPS, I missed the satire warning but I do not retract my comment.
It’s so difficult to determine what’s satire these days. Nothing seems too far fetched for either party.
No, it’s not satire. “Sessions gives way to Enzi for Budget gavel” Entire article over at the Washington Examiner December 17, 2014. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/sessions-gives-way-to-enzi-for-budget-gavel/article/2557564?custom_click=rss
