I had a super busy weekend, it was anything but relaxing (December tends to be the best/worst month schedule-wise...as I'm sure it is for many)...so in starting the week on that note this meme kind of speaks to me :-)
I don’t sleep because my work is so demanding, and my work is so demanding because I don’t get enough sleep.
Apparently it was a systemwide thing, because the Cheyenne store called us and said their phones were doing the same thing.
So basically I got paid to stand around and not do anything for 4 hours. That's not quite true. We threw some freight, and I spent a good 15 minutes helping a customer pick out a garbage disposal.
I’m retired. Is today Monday?
Walked into a Carls Jr Florin Rd sacramento. One of my regular lunch stops in the early 80s. They used those cash registers with the food items instead of numbers.
Several customers waiting for something.
I asked if they had ordered. An employee said can’t take orders the computer down.
I asked the asst mgr Why not write the order down. Add up the cost, Record the payment and put down any change. Tally them up at the end of the day.
He said: We don’t know how to do that.
