Obama's Executive Amnesty Could Affect 1.6 Million in California

President Barack Obama's executive amnesty could provide legal status to 1.6 million people living in California, according to new estimates.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) noted Thursday that President Obama's announcement coincides with Mexico’s Mexican Revolution and Civil War Day, comparing the day to America’s 4th of July. “Obama is making a powerful and dangerous symbolic declaration to large Spanish media audiences today comparing his new immigration orders to the violent Mexican revolution and civil war!" ALIPAC President William Gheen said.

A statement from ALIPAC also noted that Spanish language media corporation Univision will carry Obama's speech “in the USA, Central and South America, and around the Globe.”

Also Thursday, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced provision of Temporary Protected Status and work eligibility to nationals of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea due to the Ebola crisis. Applicants must be “continuously residing” in the United States since Nov. 20, 2014 and “continuously physically present in” the United States since Nov. 21, 2014,” according to a November 20 USCIS release.

How many more will cross the border over the next year?

I’m betting by the end of 2016, there will be over 1,000,000 more added and abetted by Obama entering the US illegally.

By 2020, we could be looking at massive numbers.

He said two odd things in this brief speech. You basically would only get to the next step as long as you had a clean record. That might be a problem with any gang members. Second, you had to prove you’d been here five years or more....which might be hard to establish as a fact unless you kept rental agreements. Fraud documents? Yep, possible. But he made this a little bit more difficult than you’d imagine.

Proof of being here 5 years? Like a selfie at a Si Se Puede rally?

"But he made this a little bit more difficult than you’d imagine."

Do you not remember when he said that we could absolutely keep our doctors, etc, etc, etc. Do you not know by now that he lies?

Are you kidding? If those provisions is enforced at all, which is unlikely, it is nothing for the illegals to obtain false documentation.

Obama just threw that in so lawful people will THINK there will be some order.

PhotoShop can make you look like you’ve lived here since 1975.

Not hard at all. They qualify by showing electric bills which is done for food stamps. Whose bills is the question.

Document fraud is huge. The illegal who crashed into my car had a perfect Arizona license and an insurance card that looked real. The cop took the info and gave it back to him. My insurance company informed me the documents were falsified and that they would take care of all costs associated with the accident.

Of course, my insurance premium went up despite the fact that I was not at fault.

ACORN (or whatever it is called now) will assist in the documentation effort.

The first two words of the post "he said". Why would you believe anything "he said"? Look at his record! He lies constantly.

We do not have access to the Mexican police records, if they exist. Also, we simply cannot process 5 million applicants. 75+% simply will not show up for hearings. Fraud documents, in a heatbeat. We are also pardoning immigrant identity thieves.

The legal process is a ruse, and Obama will never close the border. Lawlessness, pure and simple.

BTW, the joke in the DC metro area is that if you are behind a car going five miles below the speed limit, it is probably driven by an illegal making sure he doesn’t get stopped.

That's nothing. Photoshop can make you look like you were born here in 1961.

Maybe a 5-year old phone # in your name? The receipt from your Coyote that brought you over?

If it’s 1.6 million in CA, then it’s got to be 2mil in TX. Where are these illegals going to be lining up with their fake proof? County courthouses? This will be a huge operation, big enough to defund if they authorize spending piece by piece, a thousand pieces.

We’ve heard for years how good the illegals are for the economy and how we coudn’t make it without them. Now they will be able to take legal jobs (from who?>, but who will replace these muchly needed legalized illegals?

I agree with others that he lies. But it is something. What if the republicans wrote this into a law. Outlined the steps you had to take to establish all this. Really tighten it down, saying all that they are doing is putting into law what the president wants. International background checks, residency establishment limitations - everything the president said. If they start the process and then fail one of the steps, they are immediately deported.

Just doing what the president wants...nothing more and nothing less. Let the shadows get darker, and deportation costs come out of funds usually given to Mexico. Trust me, they will tighten the border for us...

Fox business had a border state sheriff and a former border patrol official on last night who said that false ID and history documents were widely available and no problem to get at all. I suspect that won’t even be needed because Obama’s functionaries will just ask the illegals to self certify and then all is fine. Same thing with a background check, unless you are a notorious mass murderer, welcome to America.
