All beheadings are grotesque but Muslim beheadings are the most reckless, repulsive, and reprehensible because they are religiously inspired. Islamic hypocrisy is astounding.
Well, the barbarians did it again! Islamic terrorists in Syria released a video Sunday of their beheading of American aid worker Peter Kassig, of Indianapolis, who had recently converted to Islam! The video also shows about a dozen Syrian military men being beheaded. Kassig is the fifth westerner to be beheaded.
It seems modern Muslims are giving past decapitators a bad name!
Alexander Blackwell (died 1747) was a British adventurer who was involved in a mysterious plot in Sweden and was tried, tortured, and beheaded. At his execution, Blackwell came to the block and put his head on the wrong side. The executioner pointed out his mistake and Blackwell moved around to the correct side, saying that he was sorry for the mistake, but this was the first time that he had been beheaded. Ahh yes, beheadings were always permanent, sometimes polite, but always to the point!

At least (very small favor) the Saudi’s and other Islamic regimes use a beheading sword at the back of the neck, severing the spinal cord quickly. While I have not watched the various IS(IS/IL) grotesques, it appears to be a combat knife from the front which would appear to emphasize the barbarity of their actions.
An interesting thought experiment, which person is the least civilized, an Islamic State butcher or a Death Camp (NAZI/Communist) volunteer?
The thing that’s sad is that we have just begun to accept this as the way things are. There’s not even a lot of coverage anymore.
Granted, a lot of the people who end up having their heads sawed off are people who are not completely sympathetic...they’re weak, confused, young leftist males who are attracted by the authoritarianism of Islam and after a few years wandering around the ME hating America usually end up converting just before they’re beheaded. The latest one was described as a “soldier,” but of course that turned out to mean that he served about one year, including boot camp, and was sent to Iraq where he lasted 4 months and then was given a medical discharge. Six years later, he was still writing to his friends and family about trying to “find himself.” A lot of them were like that, and even though they were clearly Muslim friendly and even became Muslims, that didn’t help them because Islam is an insane death cult and inflicting cruelty and death clearly serves to spread it
ISIS should have been afraid to touch a hair on his head simply because he was an American. Instead, they’re out there taunting and jumping up and down like the apes they are, because they know their boy Barry has got their back and the US is infiltrated from the top.
I saw that they also sawed the heads off 12-30 Syrian soldiers (accounts vary) in the legitimate Syrian army that they had captured. Since that’s what Obama has wanted all along, overthrowing the Syrian government being a big part of the AQ Arab Spring and all that, maybe he even sent ISIS a thank you note.
This guy went over there and became one of them.
I do not feel that sorry for him.
