Obama Calls Republicans ‘Un-American’ In Late Election Appeal to Black Voters

Barack Obama went on the Frank Ski Show Monday at 4:10 PM.

President Barack Obama attacked Republicans as ‘un-American’ in an interview on Monday.

Obama made the incendiary remarks while speaking to Frank Ski on WHUR-FM, the radio station of Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Howard University bills itself as the “nation’s premier Historically Black College and University.”

Obama called Republicans “un-American” for efforts to ‘restrict the franchise’ of voting by calling for voter ID laws and moving to curtail early and weekend voting.

In April of this year, Obama agreed with a supporter at a Democratic Party fundraiser in Texas who yelled out the Republicans were ‘un-American’ for trying to tighten voting laws. Obama did not say the words himself, though.

“In an equally forceful rebuke to Republicans, Obama accused the GOP of seeking to restrict access to voting in Texas and elsewhere. When one donor shouted out that the GOP effort was “un-American,” the president concurred.

““How is it that we’re putting up with that?” Obama asked incredulously.”

In Monday’s interview, Obama uttered the “un-American” charge unprompted by the interviewer Frank Ski.

There is nothing The President believes is too far beneath contempt, too hypocritical for him to refrain from bringing attention to himself.

He is a deluded unmitigated, brazen liar, opportunist with no consideration of whether or not whatever he says some how might reflect on him negatively.

Okay, Mr. Bozo President. A political lesson in the difference between Un-American and being non-American. An Un-American are those who espouse a belief that does not conform to the American, way of life, it's laws, culture .That doesn't mean they are not full fledged American citizens.

Obama calls Republicans “un-American” at an institution founded by the Radical Republicans in Congress and named for Gen. Oliver Otis Howard (1830-1909), who served as its President. I don’t know if Howard was openly affiliated with a political party (at one point I think it was the custom for Army officers not to vote so as not to take sides politically), but he clearly was working with the Republicans and was at loggerheads with the Democrats during the Reconstruction Era. He was also head of the Freedmen’s Bureau, which Democrat Andrew Johnson did his best to undermine.

You are courteously, cogently right on the money. I read my response three times and it seemed fine. The mistakes you end up making always take on a clarity of what you wrote only after you posted it but can't do a thing about it anymore.
