I’ve instructed my sons to defend themselves whatever the threat. If that means putting five knuckles to some physically abusive chick, so be it.
Class size is too small for male/female split. And sparring isn't really a big part of it.

I don't mean to suggest there are not significant differences. And I believe in Chivalrous behavior is good for our society and individuals.
That said, I only have girls. I don't teach them to depend on the good behavior of others. Expect it, demand it of themselves and those the associate with, but don't depend on everyone exhibiting it.
My only point, today's world is not a clearly defined as it was many decades ago. Children need to be taught judgement, not just Black/White rules.

To be honest, that was the point I quit reading and just skimmed over the rest. It diminished the likelihood of being real when it appeared to be promoted foolish myth.
No, you don’t blur the moral Truth in young children-—you tell boys NEVER to hit a girl. Otherwise, you blur morality to situational ethics which is paganism and demonic and destroys the most perfect ethic system in the history of the World: Christian Ethics. It created the Age of Reason, Chivalry and Romance-—and created the most Free and Just cultures in the history of mankind for all groups.
If boys are in a life and death situation their Natural instincts will take over—you don’t need to worry about that. You teach them to defend against other boys-—how to fight.....since evil always exists. If it is used against a “girl”, there better be really good reason for it. Boys should feel guilty for having hit a girl-—for shame is essential to any moral societies. Boys will always be able to rationalize the hitting anyhow—that is human nature.
Society today thinks its ok. That if a woman slaps a man or even punches him then he must have deserved it. But if a man touches a woman in any way he’s the lowest of the low.
People should respect each other. However if a woman thinks she is going to hit me without a response she had better be prepared.

"Real men don't hit women" is one half of a social contract. The other half is "Ladies don't start physical altercations with men."
Radical feminism and Marxism attack that social contract, to the detriment of both women and men. Mens' belief that they should not hit women is not an excuse for women to hit men.
At the extreme, if somebody attacks you with intent to inflict death or grave bodily harm, defend yourself with lethal force. The attacker's plumbing doesn't matter.
