Taxpayers spent $40 million for a new "rapid" bus line in Grand Rapids that takes twice as long as a car and only beats the old bus line by one minute.

Actually, an inner city bus that can travel in half the time of a car is a MAJOR IMPROVEMENT over most inner city buses.
...and that is why they only seem to be able to get their captive audiences to ride them.
