It’s difficult to follow this story with all the twists and turns. But... aren’t the police saying that Brown attacked the officer?

Maybe when the officer stopped Brown, Brown believed he was being stopped because of the robbery. That would explain why he pushed the officer back into his patrol car, if indeed that’s what he did.

The police are saying Brown attacked the officer, reaches for his gun and pointed it at the officer at some point, then continued on. Then, when the officer told him to ‘freeze’ he turned and bull rushed the officer full speed (despite having a gun pointed at him) and the officer shot him multiple times as he kept charging.

The witnesses say there was a scuffle, officer said, “Freeze” and Brown turned either with arms in the air or arms in air and on his knees and was still shot by the officer.

One witness it the friend of Brown’s that was with him at the store they robbed. The other witness was in a car and said she saw it happen.

There was a report a teen girl had a camera/phone with video of the actual incident that was confiscated on the scene. Been unable to verify that and we obviously haven’t seen that footage if it exists.

A crime was committed and the call went out with a description of the suspects, all units on patrol would have heard it. It’s called a BOLO, it makes no sense that he wouldn’t have known unless he came on duty after the BOLO.
