Another non-worker getting paid to prevent productive individuals from working.
Based on principles I am all for more local government control. When in comes to fracking in PA few communities are against it where it can be used to extract gas and oil. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, both cities loaded with liberals, fortunately don’t have anything to frack. Their large populations should not overrule what goes on in rural PA. What is ironic, is that these Obama loving liberals in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh benefit from fracking, but they are so fracking stupid to know it.
When the anti-frackers and anti-Keystone pipeline crowd totally stop using any petroleum based product in their personal lives then they truly believe their cause. Until then they are just a bunch of typical, lying lieberal hypocrites. Get off our roads, airplanes and return the vaseline they purchased last week.
I watch the price of gasoline and diesel fuel jump up every time ANYTHING happens in the Middle East - and then drive by the SWN natural gas filling station and see the price (1.50) that has remained unchanged for well over a year now - and think: THIS is what energy independence looks like. THIS is what it is like when we are allowed to “harvest” our own energy resources, instead of relying on nations and peoples who absolutely HATE the USA...
And then I see stories like this thread - and the people from right here in the US who obviously HATE the USA - who don’t want energy independence - its the same yahoos who block oil drilling, oil pipelines, and refinery construction.
I’m all about “safe”. I’m all about being “responsible” - but I’m also all about the USA breaking our dependence on Islamic Hell-holes, dictators, and communists for our fuel that drives our economy...
