Not quite true. The last place I worked at was getting rid of tape backup. Yes, there still are tape drives in use but more organizations are finding it safer and cheaper and faster to just backup to storage area networks (hard drives).
Again, the White House cabal is mocking the Congress and the ignorant public. Without the interest of the MSM, no investigation can gain traction.

Here is my question, is Obama this stupid or is he setting something up. He may be trying to get Republicans to go after him before the election thus motivating his base and taking along liberal whites with them.
But if that’s the case I have a news flash for the President, no one is going to lose sleep over the IRS, they are hated by everyone on every level. So if Republicans go whole hog after the IRS, it won’t hurt them a bit.
And, if the Prez proves to be collateral damage down the road, oh well.
Even a remote chance we can stop using hyperbole? “Explodes”, bombshell” etc. I’ve seen that in headlines for years and nothing ever comes of it. When something real occurs, i.e. prosecution, get back to me.

Read the text in the image below where the subject is addressed by Lois Lerner way back in mid-2011. She is NOT TALKING ABOUT LOST EMAILS. She talking about some of the documents being irreplaceable. That is very possible. Put a Word document on your computer. Wipe out your disk. The .docx file could well be gone forever.
Not so with Emails as we all know. And, to me, the Lois Lerner Email shown below tells me that Lois Lerner knows that as well. Only some of the documents are "irreplaceable".
Now there is no doubt that the "Powers That Be" want to use her "Computer Crash" for cover. Let them try. But the Lois Lerner "Sometimes stuff just happens" has nothing to do with lost Emails. Just good old standard Excel and Word or PDF files most likely.
