Academic Freedom Pushed Aside For Academic Justice

Academic freedom used to be a staple of higher education in America. It has slowly been whittled away to the point where conservatives are generally unwelcome. Worse still are researchers who reach conclusions not approved by the left. Over at Harvard Sandra Korn openly advocates for eliminating academic freedom in favor of “academic justice.” Opinions and research which aren’t approved by the left would be banned from college. One can imagine any research opposing “climate change” theory would be banned. As would any research on race, sex or ethnicity that doesn’t fit into the left’s narrative. Truth would be sacrificed for a narrative.

The fanatic cited is simply trying to codify what has already taken place across much of academia. The established mantra are now the theories of a viciously intolerant collectivist/egalitarian movement. Fewer & fewer on the faculties dare to challenge the premises.

The idiocy is, of course, rationalized as a pursuit of "social justice." It will not stand critical scrutiny--not at all. But it will continue until more of our youth learn to openly challenge the false premises:

See Not "Social" & Not "Just".

The left is out to make conservative thought a crime, which they are already doing. It's called brain control for all the young brains of mush. They want everyone to have one thought so the socialist leaders can control the sheeple.

JUSTUS!!! We demand justice. Why, just yesterday we heard “trucker justice.”

How many words have been bastardized placing the bastardized “justice” before or after. How about “Justice” justice? All that word represents now is the next progressive attack on freedom. When the progressives use the word they don’t want justice, they want superiority and to silence any and all debate.

I would be in favor of this if they would eliminate tenure entirely as well. A reasonable tradeoff in the long haul.
