A recent visit to a Catholic church in another state brought a reminder that somewhere around 40% of Catholics who regularly attend mass are devoted Democrat voters. The car in the next space had a bumper sticker supporting a self-described Catholic Democrat well known for supporting partial birth abortions.
The overt act of placing a sign on one’s car begs a few questions. Is it reasonable that in this era of effective mass communication a potential voter could fail to know what a politician’s positions are? Could a Catholic voter be engaged enough to want to place a sign on his/her vehicle yet have no understanding that Democrats represent a political philosophy that is diametrically opposed to the teachings of the Catholic Church? Finally what does Roman Catholic Church Canon Law...

Add not voting at all, sitting out the election to the list.
Voting democrat is voting against the Catholic faith.
If you read the bible, time after time it warns that complicity with a person doing evil is a sin. Voting for a group of people who foster abortion, homosexuality, voter fraud (in resisting the voter ID laws), and several other things that you intrinsically know are wrong is a serious sin. I have a feeling that a lot of Catholic democrats know this but hide their heads when it is time to vote. They will pay one day.
That is probably one of those things Catholics and Christians forget. When you vote for evil people to run your government, you become complicit in that evil. There is no running away from it. Now, there is a difference in voting for a politician that lies to you, while running for office. It is very funny how so many people are so willing to give up their freedoms, because of a politicians promise to do better.
Back in the 60s, when I was growing up, every Catholic I knew was democrat. And since JFK, it has been hard for them to change parties...that hope of another Catholic president holds a strong pull on them. EVen when faced with facts, they say that the family has always been democrat, they’d be disinherited, etc.
Catholics have always been democrat, since they started arriving in America in the 1800s, the republicans have only won their vote about five times.

If you dance with the devil but don’t recognize him as the devil, that’s your fault. Let those who has ears, hear. And those who have eyes, see.

That certainly didn’t take long.
What did you expect when the subject was brought up in this context? Not voting for the lesser of two evils is by default accepting and supporting the greater of two evils.
If you fail to do everything possible to prevent someone like obama who DOES push abortion by not voting at all because you don’t like the alternative candidate then you are still supporting abortion by default. Sitting out these recent elections at whatever level is allowing democrats to win and make things even worse. Sitting it out does not absolve you from any responsibility in their success.
Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.
Consider the case of the single-issue voter who's issue is Abortion. In 2012, both candidates for President were demonstrated, by their records, pro-abortion. There was nobody to vote for. You would insist they should have voted for a pro-abortion candidate simply because of the presence of the "(R)" after his name.
That's like being a little less immoral.
Too much redundancy. Voting for a democrat IS cooperation in evil.
