Wednesday is middle of the week day, over the “hump” day towards the weekend. Been a cliche for many a year. Nothing as suggested by your first post.

No, i’m 76 and have never heard the term.
The only time i’ve heard the term used was in reference to sex.
No disrespect meant, I myself am 74 years young and perhaps falsely thought that everyone knew what “Hump-Day Humor” meant so I guess that I am not a smart as I thought I was.
