OK, before everyone starts fussing at me, I know I promised a story on a different subject this morning, but this is somewhat urgent and God has put the muse upon me this morning and this is the direction she has taken me in. It's beyond my control.
My old, damaged, analyst brain is working overtime right now to the point that it feels like it's going to explode. Being a student of history, I study a lot of wars, not only the wars but I'll generally go back about a decade or so before they began to see what led up to them. This is causing all sorts of warning bells to go off considering the situation in the Ukraine right now.
This is what we know to be fact... I watched video of Russian special forces on the ground in Crimea, they were easily recognizable by the weapons they carried. Russia has surrounded the peninsula with Naval vessels. There's no way Russia can let this area go, it's the home of one their largest naval bases and their only direct access to the Mediterranean sea. As Obama threatens to get together with the European Union and possibly threaten Putin with what he thinks are strong consequences, Putin has already taken the area.
So what comes next? Putin already has oil sources from Iran and Syria, he has open trade with China, trade sanctions are not going to mean much to him at all. The only thing he's lacking is commodities and where would he get those? Just a little hint for you, Ukraine is known as the breadbasket of Russia, if he takes the rest of the country, he's in pretty good shape.
He's already tested and bested Obama in Syria and Iran and seen China push Obama around as well. He knows we have the weakest administration since Carter. Now if Putin can take down the United States, he'll pretty much control the world. How could this happen though?
A couple of days ago a Russian intelligence gathering ship docked in Cuba for re-supply. That indicates to me that they've been operating off our coast for quite some time, they're monitoring our naval response. Do you know where our entire Atlantic submarine fleet is? It is in Kingsland GA, just across the state line from Florida, that's pretty close to Cuba. Also, anyone who has any naval experience will tell you that a ship like that won't operate alone, there's back up somewhere within reach of them. How many other Russian ships are lurking around out there?
At the same time, the Iranians sent a small fleet of ships in our direction. Are they kidding? Why would they do that knowing they wouldn't stand a chance against our naval forces? Because Putin assured them that he would have their back and he had forces to put into play if they became threatened or attacked.
Oh wait, there's more, we're forgetting a major player here...China. They're pseudo allies with Russia. So where do they come in? We all know China could break us financially within days, completely destroying our economy. We could quickly find ourselves facing war with Russia, no money to fight with, facing mass poverty and starvation at home.
Why would China do this? Simple, while we're busy with all this, they'll just take every country in Asia. Japan, South Korea, the Philippines...even Australia and New Zealand would be in danger. Have they not already demonstrated their desire to do so?
As all this is going on, Obama releases a pathetic video of him and Biden jogging around the white house. He holds a press conference announcing happy hour for the democratic party. Kerry continues to spew more of his idiocracy. Yet he's going to threaten Russia if something happens. Hello???? It's already happening and he's throwing a party.
For Russia and China, now is the time to bring us down. They know we're at our weakest point ever right now but they don't know who is going to take over next. For all they know, we could have another Reagan arise from out of the blue in 2016, it's now or never for them.
Can you imagine what it would mean to Putin to be the man who took down the United States of America? Hopefully I'm wrong and this is just all speculation, but there's no denying that the fruit is ripe for picking. The only question is, will Putin pick it and will we be able to stop him?

Can you explain to me why, if their fleet is based there, and it’s been fine all these years, they have to “take” the country? Just having a democratic and elected pro West guy would have done what? Insist the ships go elsewhere? Insist the ships be theirs? What’s the big deal, why did Russia do this? Maybe they were genuinely concerned about their Navy falling into the wrong hands? I don’t know.
The sun has set on the American century.
Fear mongering? Not really...this is a pretty clear and level headed assessment of the world today. Russia and China are poised to advance while America falls behind.

China and the West are first and foremost trading partners both under control of financial elites.
Not much mention here today of the US Navy’s dozen aircraft carriers, the fleet of nuclear subs.
Not much mention of the joint financial superpower of US, UK and all the offshore corporations of the financial elites. The financing capability of these is such that they can spend a trillion on a war - happily - with no problems at all. No other group has anywhere near the power.
Russia is simply maintaining the military installations it has. The US does the SAME thing, if its military installations have “issues”, it comes in and safeguards them.
