Can you explain to me why, if their fleet is based there, and it’s been fine all these years, they have to “take” the country? Just having a democratic and elected pro West guy would have done what? Insist the ships go elsewhere? Insist the ships be theirs? What’s the big deal, why did Russia do this? Maybe they were genuinely concerned about their Navy falling into the wrong hands?
