They had a drill fighting left-wing terrorists last year, until leftists complained, whereupon they apologized. Meanwhile, no one would even dare to suggest that they hold a drill involving fighting against Islamic jihadists. Everyone knows that Islam is a Religion of Peace and that Tiny Minority of Extremists that has hijacked it is nowhere near Ohio, right?
Well, there was Nuradin Abdi, who in August 2002 planned a jihad attack against an Ohio shopping mall. And Abdullah Mohammed Muslim, an Ohio Muslim who trained with al Qaeda and pled guilty to possessing “unregistered destructive devices.” And Ahmed Hussein Mahamud, the Ohio Muslim who was arrested for aiding the jihad in Somalia. Hor Akl, the Ohio Muslim who pled guilty to plotting to fund Hizballah. And Salah Sultan, the former Ohio-based Muslim cleric who is now a Muslim Brotherhood leader, and has said that people worldwide “thirst for the blood of the Jews”
Then there were the Ohio kids who were brutally beaten for being bad Muslims. And the Muslim who last year murdered his Christian father at an Ohio church. He left a copy of the Qur’an on the church podium, and quoted the Qur’an after the murder. He shouted “This is the will of Allah!” as he killed his father.
Nope. Nothing to worry about regarding jihad activity in Ohio. Better focus on those “right-wing extremists.”

Nice of the Ohio National Guard to announce that they’re the enemies of anyone who appreciates the Second Amendment.

We had very similar training when I was stationed at Camp Lejuene in 1970. Of course, we were training to quell civil disturbances that the current Regime comprised of Socialist Radicals would incite.
I wouldn’t be too hard on the troops. Be more concerned about the 2nd stringers that are moving into command positions as the Real Patriots are being pushed out through Obama’s purges.
Glad to see all those brave soldiers loyal to their oaths and refusing to practice making war on americans. Yep, look at them refusing to participate at the thought of being ordered to butcher american civilians. Oh...wait...

Officers and NCO’s make the troops and tell them who their targets are.
If the new officers are going to be of the leftist and statist mindset then so will be the troops.
Yes, because the ohio guard has a long, storied history of refusing to turn their weapons on civilians.

When they start breaking into our homes and dragging us out, can we then complain?
If they beat, shoot or incarcerate innocent people because they are "just following orders", then just what excuse works for them?
No more excuses. We have reached the point where there is no gray area. Right and wrong are clearly delineated.

Read their “scenario”. One major difference, left wing extremists seem to be much more dangerous: no morals and no respect for others lives.

It might surprise you to know that many of our troops take their Oath of Enlistment quite seriously.
Unlawful orders do not have to be obeyed.

“The ONG 52nd Civil Support Team training scenario involved a plot from local school district employees to use biological weapons in order to advance their beliefs about “protecting Gun Rights and Second Amendment rights.”
Portsmouth Chief of Police Bill Raisin told NBC 3 WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia that the drill accurately represented “the reality of the world we live in,” adding that such training “helps us all be prepared.”
