Marines will die because women are included in combat units.
1. The male propensity to protect women in built into male DNA and they will take chances when a woman can’t hold up in a fire fight.
2. When males and females are cast together in close quarters, as combat units are from training camps to the front lines, romances bud, jealousy rears its ugly head; consequences are that unit efficiency drops, unit rapport suffers and worse.
This is a very, very bad situation and whoever is responsible should be held accountable, IMO!

Change the scenario with both squads Marines, one all female and one all male. Now pick.
I'm sure that was fine when women were not serving in combat roles, but now they soon will be. Is there another physical fitness test that female Marines must take to qualify to serve in a combat MOS?
Democrats HATE women. So much they want them to murder their unborn children and now want them to be able to fight and die just like a man. And what is this I heard about a republican “war on women”. Sounds to me like the ones that hate women are democrats, so much they want them have an equal chance to die, die, die.
Fire Departments have been fighting this for years no.
In my time there I never found one that could start a chainsaw properly or start a generator without electric start. They aren’t very good with an axe or a hook or raising ground ladders, either. Forget the Pompier.
All standards are lowered to allow women AND homosexuals to meet the standards. Women for obvious reasons can’t do the physical and mental things required of men in battle, and homosexuals for the same reason, because they are like women to start with.
Republicans sit back and don’t say a word when Obama does anything. Destroying the military’s mission effectiveness with allowing women and homosexuals (because most act like women), to be in direct combat is just the latest.
None of this crap would be possible if republicans would man up and quit caving in to the Obama agenda of destroying the country from within.
Israel does have women in direct combat roles. They tried it and it failed. This is just another lie floated by the leftwing whackos that want women to be able to die at the same rate men die. Anyone with a brain knows women are not meant to fight other men in battle. Total BS, but allowed to happen because republicans will stand up and be men. They vote for this garbage, right along with democrats.

My observations re women unable to do pull ups is limited and based on relatives, neighbors, friends and friends of our immediate family.
That small and diverse group has some exceptional female athletes from sports, gymnastics to cheerleading, and none have been able to do a single pull up. Probably the best athlete in the group is a young woman now. She was great in dancing, gymnastics and track. She was one of the first women to wrestle in high school, in this area, and she mainly wrestled against guys. Many of whom, she beat with pins or a lot of points. She could never do a single pull up, and she still can’t in spite being in great shape.

This is the end result of all legislatively imposed equality programs, from Title IX in college sports, to education. The gap is closed not by raising the underperformers, but by lowering the top. The closed gap is all that matters; this is equality of outcome.

I’m a Marine. My sanity left 30 years ago when I stepped on the yellow footprints at MCRD San Diego. I don’t trust army small unit leadership, it sucks. I will take any Marine led platoon any day.
Women still do not serve in combat arms MOS’s. This is a PFT requirement, not an MOS specific requirement.
Exactly, he will not raise everyone up, but will tear everyone who is above poverty down.

I'm pretty sure infantry, armor and artillery are, in fact, combat arms. So, will female Marines be permitted to serve in a combat MOS without even managing three pull-ups (the current minimum standard for men), or is there a higher physical fitness standard required to qualify for a combat arms MOS? If there is no higher PFT standard to qualify to serve in the combat arms then the Marines are absolutely lowering their standards to accommodate those who are incapable of meeting the current standard.

That is another combat factor. My young female relative I described is able to handle a back pack up to about 20-25 pounds and still be able to walk/hike a mile in 12 minutes or under.
Her small and younger brother can easily handle a 40-45 pound back pack and walk a mile in 12 minutes.
He can out run her with a back pack on.
Without a backpack, she can barely beat him.
The Marine Corps has stated over and over that they are not going to lower their standards for any of the combat arms MOS’s. They are the only service attempting to raise the female PFT standard to that of the males. There will be very few females that will pass SOI, Field Artillery School, Tank and AAV School, Combat Engineer school, LAAD Gunner school or the Marine Recon initial entry test. Very few women will even attempt to get in either of these MOS’s. The few that do get past the school still have to pass the unit requirements. There will be even fewer who will be able to do that. There will be less than 1% of women in Marine Corps combat arms MOS’s. The Marine Corps will stand it’s ground, they will not lower the standards.
Why are we engaged in this pointless activity to accommodate less than 1%?!! We are doing it because the political masters of the military have told them to do it and the Army and the Marines have saluted and said, "yes, sir!" And when those same political masters tell the Army and the Marines that there are not enough women represented in the combat arms according to pc expectations, the military will say "yes, sir!" again and do whatever it takes to make things "right" - even if it takes lowering their standards, which, of course, it will.
If the military was serious, they would simply have a "special" Army vs. Navy football game to graphically demonstrate the stupidity of this idea; half of one team would consist of female members. I know which team I would put my money on.
