PC Insanity: Female Marines Can’t Do Pullups But Will Be Allowed to Serve on Front Lines Anyway
Several issues with this.
What is a front line in our current wars?
Many women have been killed in our current wars. If they should not be in combat why were they thee and why did the die?
If dealing with a singular combat team (Seals, Rangers etc.) that is one thing but are we going to send women in to combat zones or not. We have been doing so for years..
BS. They delayed it because they are afraid of being prosecuted for bias or hate or some other such made up crime. Or, they've been ordered to and won't say. Either way the pansy in the WH is prancing along his destruction of the Armed Forces of America.

This nation stopped fighting for it’s survival a long time ago as indicated by the fast spreading of Islam.
Take a peek what is happening in Europe.
I have seen women do plenty of pullups, but they have to focus on doing it. They must do exercises that focus on this movement. And it is a very important movement indeed because when you need to get over a wall, its not a pushup movement that gets you up and over, its a pullup.
No one wins in the long run by destroying the fighting effectiveness of our military-that’s my point.
So, add seventy pounds of gear, ammo, and weapons... When it comes time to clear that obstacle or die I guess they will be dying. So will all the guys who were counting on the fire support. Great.
They can’t even do THREE pull-ups? Our five-year-old grandchildren can do better than that.

Ok, you trapped in a US consulate surround by Al-Qaeda terrorists ready to burn the place down. You get a hold of Cent Com on the sat phone, there are two options, they can send a platoon of all female Marines airdropped into your position or a platoon of all male Army soldiers airdropped. They let you pick which one. Which do you pick?
Not a doctor but I suspect the failure to be able to do pull-ups has something to do with female anatomy, in the arm and chest region.
First off that is a bullshiite scenario and you know it. Second what does your scenario have to do with the topic at hand?
Everyone here with the exception of a couple of posters has their panties up in a wad over the Marine Corps trying to do the right thing by holding all Marines to the same damn standard. They are not dumbing the standard down to the female one, they are actually trying to bring all Marines up to the male standard. But you and your fellow chicken littles are too busy dodging imaginary pieces of the sky to see it.
It is an easy scenario, just pick. Quit dodging...
And I always thought “Pull-ups” were a sort of diaper panty for toddlers.........
Due to our Creator's foresight that is impossible you know it, and I know it. WOMEN WILL NEVER OBTAIN THE UPPER BODY STRENGTH.
Ok I will pick an option from your un-realistic scenario.
I pick the female Marine platoon over the army platoon.
Why? Because the Marine platoon will have infinitely better leadership, better marksman, and will be better motivated.
And I trust any Marine more than I do a soldier.
Now that your crazy azz scenario is out of the way maybe you would like to address what I stated in my original post.
I would also pick a Marine platoon made up entirely of cooks and admin pogues over an army platoon, but that’s just me.
I mean a battalion- brigade- division combat on the order of WW 2 or Korea, with our troops on the receiving end of concentrated heavy artillery, with armor etc. not disparaging what our troops have been subjected to. But for the last 30 or 40 years we have never been in the position of not having air supremacy and armor arty supremacy.
You can lie to yourself about men and women being physically equal, but I won't be a fool and go along with it.
Men can't squirt out a baby from between their legs, is that fair?
